Spooky greetings! Do you have fun plans for this Halloween? I am working a few hours today and then we are going to have a great time Trick-or-Treating tonight. In my personal life, I am in a very Halloween-y mood, but in my creative life I am focused on the upcoming holidays. I pretty much had to force myself to create a Halloween card for this week’s sketch! I just couldn’t post a Christmas card {of my own} on Halloween! I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween! I hope to have pics…assuming I don’t forget the camera AGAIN…next week!

Hey there! Well, I’m up on the Prism blog again today. with a banner just for FALL. Here’s a sneakie peekie…

I also have another project to show you here. I first saw a petal top box like this one on the Clearly iStamp blog. I knew that I had to use the Prism papers to make this into another “Fall Into Prism” project. Just imagine the possibilities with holidays coming up! You can fill the with candy, ornaments, small gifties and even make this a fancy way of giving the standby gift card!…

Here are the deets.
1. Each a week one of The Cat’s Pajamas DT members will host a challenge.
2. The challenges will vary {stamp, technique, color, theme, sketch, etc.}
3. Post your design to the guestbook on Alma’s blog.
4. TCP stamps are not required, but of course, highly encouraged. {Unless it is a challenge calling for a specific stamp}
5. There will be one winner each month. They will be deemed that month’s Swankiest Stamper and get $25 in Cat’s Cash {money to spend on the TCP site!}.
6. Only designs posted to the guestbook will be considered for the Swanky Stamper.
7. The newly crowned Swanky Stamper will be announced on the First of the Month and have his/her winning entry posted on The Cat’s Pajamas website where he/she will reign for the entire month.

Welcome to my post along the Verve Stamps Believe Blog Hop. If you happened here by chance, be sure to start at Julee’s blog. Hopefully you hopped along here from my sweet friend, Susan’s, blog. And, when you are done here, you will hop hop hop on over to the super talented Betty, one of the Verve Stamps’ Guest Designers this month. Don’t worry, I will link her on the bottom of this post, too. I just end up having a lot of links and I don’t want hers to get lost in the shuffle.

Well, as you know it’s Saturday, so that means that I have a SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY. I think that you all will like this one and do A-MAAAA-ZING creations with it…

This is my creation for both the hop and the sketch…

This card uses the new set, Believe {hence the “Believe” blog hop}. For each of these sets sold, Verve will donate $10 to Susan G. Komen to help find a cure. This is a subject close to my heart. As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. A year ago she completed her chemo and has been cancer free since then. I know that other women…moms, sisters, friends…are not as fortunate and have lost their courageous battles. While this is a wonderful set to use to give to people fighting the fight, it is also a great set to use when you are trying to sell items to make money for walks and other fundraisers. I’d like to think that it can keep on giving.

Have you been following all the sneak peeks on the Verve blog? I know that I am surrounded by a mountain of talent on that team, yet each month I am blown away with what the sneak peeks hold. I love that!

I have several projects that I can’t wait to show you, but I am going to do it a few at a time here. This is the first card that I created with Christmas in the Air, my favorite of the new sets…

The snowflake was created with the Cricut machine on thin chipboard, then painted white and partially coated with Diamond Glaze and Diamond Dust. I then topped it off with a ribbon and a bow. The paper pieced tree matches the green button and gives the card the “pop” of color that it so desperately needed.

My second {and last} project to show today…

As you can see, all of these project use non-traditional Christmas colors. I am totally loving stepping away from the usual red and green of the season. It’s fun to bring in oranges and pinks to combo with silvers and such. There’s lots more samples on the Verve blog and there will be even more to see at the Verve release party tonight on SCS. You can read more about the party HERE.

Today is the first day of Ellie’s physical therapy. We are hoping for a turn around on the ability to run and jump within the next few months. I am very positive about all of this and I am looking forward to watching my sweet lil’ girl grow more and more each day. She is going to be such a wonderful big sister! The other day our dog jumped on me and she immediately belted out, “Abby off!! That’s my brother in there!” Yesterday, she drew a picture of me with a huge circle for my belly, which says “just keeps getting bigger, and bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger!” I hope she’s willing to tell me how small it gets after baby boy del Muro gets here!!!
