It’s time for another great PAINT THE TOWN challenge from MARKET STREET STAMPS. Isn’t this a beeeeee-autiful color combo?…

It’s no surprise that I reached for my background stamps from Market Street, CANDY STRIPE to be exact. I stamped it color on color on cardstock and then punched out several circles to get this oh-so-graphic and clean and simple card…

Teacher Appreciation, Continued…

Well, even though Teacher Appreciation Week is over I still have another project to share. Last week our school designated days for the students to bring stuff to their teachers. One of the days was “Take Note” and the kiddos brought in notepads, pens, etc. to their teachers. I couldn’t let Ellie take just a plain ol’ notepad, so I glammed up this 4 ” x 6″ composition book in Verve style…

I used a big variety of Verve products along with some Bella Blvd. and Jillibean Soup papers to complete this project. The bling is from Recollections at Michaels…

More Mother’s Day Love…

Are you busy making Mother’s Day cards? I have to admit that I only made one that has a Mother’s Day sentiment because I had Ellie make the others to coordinate with the little gifties that were mailed, too. However, when I got home from the post office I realized that one of the cards did not make it into the packaging, but I swear that the package that it was supposed to go into had a card. Let’s just say I have a couple phone calls to make today to the moms in my life…LOL!

Here’s the {scrappy} card that I made that I think is on it’s way to the right person…

Mother’s Day sentiments are hard to come by, but I knew right where to go to find one…the Verve set, Love Deepens which has a sentiment for every woman in your life! I added the Loopy Blooms with rhinestones centers to embellish this very scrappy card. I love that these flowers are unlike any others available in the boutique market now…and that they come in 2 sizes {with leaves, too}!

A Beary Happy Mother’s Day to You…

Good Morning blog world friends! Is anyone else a fan of The Voice? What did you think of the finale last night? I *knew* all along that Jermaine was going to win, although I wish that someone without any previous “breaks” would have gotten their big break. He did awesome throughout the whole competition and certainly deserved it…even if I was rooting like crazy for rocker, Juliet! I can’ believe how mean Christina was to Tony Lucca all the time…what was that all about? I could go on, but I will digress to the creative goods at hand.

Did you see the new TCP Tuesday challenge? Susan is this week’s Hipster Hostess with the Mostess and she is all about the letter “M.” What does that mean?…believe me, I had to ask, too! It just means to use your imagination and use a stamp that has something with the letter “M.” Here’s a few of Susan’s ideas…

{Like the penguin holding a Margarita, the little girl holding a Mug, obviously the MUSTACHES, Merry Christmas, the bunny riding the Moped, the Monkeys, the bunny on the Mushroom, all the bears have Muzzles, Music–now ya’ll get the idea?}

I went ahead and took the bears with muzzles cue to create this Mother’s Day card with the BEAR HUGS set from The Cat’s Pajamas…

In addition to using an “M” something, the challenge calls for you to pair it with the Pennant CutUps. I used mine as one of my many layers, just under the Lacey Floral Doily CutUps. Detail shot…
