Happy Saturday folks! It’s another Copic teaching day {at Scrapper’s Boutique} for me and then I will be stamping my heart out the rest of the afternoon and evening. YAY! I have lots of new goodies to play with that I will be showing off in the next week or so.

I mentioned above that I have lots of new goodies to play with, and a good chunk of those goodies are from MY FAVORITE THINGS. There’s a new release coming up on Wednesday and there are some super duper cutie patootie sets coming out. You can check out more sneak peek samples on Kim’s/The MFT blog, where she has a list of all the peekers.

In this set there are 3 house images. I used 2 of the same side by side and then popped up a different one right in the middle of them. The “Boo Time” paper is also created from one of the sentiments in the set. I love making my own DP from sentiment sets, especially when I can’t find a good place to put one otherwise!

Hey all! It’s the first day of the Verve August Release Project Parade over on the Verve blog. This month’s theme…

Don’t be thinking just wedding, because we put a little twist on this phrase. We are challenging you to come up with a creation using both your new August release stamps, as well as a previously released set {I hate to call any of my Verve stamps old!}. I used Birthday Bash paired with Love Monkey to create this card…

In case you are thinking you have seen a monkey spinner card before, you’re right. I loved Susan’s spinning monkey and thought that it would be a fun addition to the paper pieced balloons. This card was ordered by one of Tony’s co-workers for a little girl and I really hope that she enjoys it! Happy TCP on Tuesday, as opposed to me posting later in the week as I do on occasion. This TCP Tuesday is certainly a special one! Instead of having our “normal” challenges we are honoring the TCP Customers in a The Cat’s Pajamas Tuesday Customer Blog Hop.

I’ve been checking out scrapbooking {gasp!} magazines lately and a couple designs using a similar layout have caught my eye, so I thought that I would give it a go {again…I used a similar one on a Verve card last week}. In the past I haven’t paid all too much {serious} attention to scrapbook magazines, but it turns out that they are full of great inspiration, layouts and other fun ideas.
