Sites of the week

Oh my…I stamped! YAY! It’s been about a week since I stamped, but I finally got around to inking up my new Joyride set from TCP. Joanne is the Hipster Hostess with the Mostess this week and she is bringing on this color challenge…

I am totally lovin’ this Vespa riding bunny…so cute! I think that paper piecing the Vespa is my favorite part. As for the rest of the deets about this card…I used Stickles on the scarf {she’s a fancy bunny, ya know!} and I popped up the wheel and wheel well for added dimension. The embellishment stack was created from a Maya Road plastic flower, a crocheted hearts {’member those ones that I talked about from Etsy a few days ago?} and a button tied off with some twine. I have a little bit of news about SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY…
1. If you are a fan/like Sketch For You to Try on Facebook {HERE}, you will be getting a peek at the sketch on Friday evenings/nights starting this week. I will be posting the sketch and samples here on Saturday as normal.
2. There is a new SFYTT Sister that I will introduce this Saturday. I am sure you will like her a “latte.”
3. It’s the first Saturday of the month this week, so there will also be a new Designer of the Month. She has great talent and plays along with SFYTT a lot.

Hello ladies. Here I am writing this at 11:30 at night, having just got home from a quick trip to Phoenix. It’s been a couple of fun, but long days. I completely forgot to do a card for today’s sketch before I left. Ooops! Fortunately, I didn’t forget to pack anything {other than my toothbrush} for myself and the kiddos {Tony packs his own stuff}.

That being said, I am making this short and sweet {I am soooo tired}. I do love this sketch and will have something up later this week {maybe even this weekend}. Here is this week’s sketch…

Raise your hand if you like new stamps {me, me, me!!}. You are gonna LOVEEEE the new release from Verve…and NO, I don’t have to say that {unless, I truly believe it…and I do!}. They just scream summer and fresh and fun. I’m still ogling some of my Christmas stamps, but I figure that considering that it IS April that I need to move on and think of the warmer days ahead {thank goodness, bc it’s been especially cold here this winter!}.

The Verve blog has a whole lotta eye candy going on, so if you wanna see more be sure to cruise over there…when you are done here, of course

Here’s my first card using the to-be-released-Friday set, Relax. This is one of my fave cards that I have made in a loooong time. I think that I have mentioned that my stamping time is next to none these days and with that my mojo has been in a depression. Dear Mojo, please snap out of it!! At least my Mojo was around when I had to make this one…

Yep, that’s the cork that I was supposed to use on yesterday’s card, too. Lovin’ the ricrac die…

Well, I have been stamping a little here and there, but I didn’t get a chance to make a card that uses CORK for today’s TCP TUESDAY. Amy Rohl is your Hipster Hostess with the Mostess this week and when she said “CORK” I was so excited; however, my lil’ man was equally fussy and I didn’t quite get to it…UGH!!!!
