Posted by Jen | Lil' Inker, blog hopping, cards | Thursday, December 15, 2011

What a couple of rainy and cold days we have had here. Not exactly the ones that you want to be running a gazillion errands in, but somehow I have managed. Today I am looking forward to a little book exchange party and some hot cocoa…both the beverage and the stamped kind!

Posted by Jen | Lil' Inker, cards | Wednesday, December 14, 2011

Thursday already…oh my!! I was up late working on teacher gifties yesterday…peppermint bark in clear pails and cute lil’ sock snowmen that I saw on Pinterest. Pics of all that goodness to come, but first I have some more new Lil’ Inker stamps from their new line to show you.

Lil’ Inker Artic Friends…

Posted by Jen | Lil' Inker, blog hopping, cards, just because | Sunday, December 11, 2011

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. We were stuck inside with a sick wee one…again {still?}. I may be off to the doc again this morning to see if his ear infection hasn’t gone away. Poor lil’ man! If I don’t have to clean up puke today, I will mark it as a win! At least everything else is going ok! I have most of my Christmas shopping done, did a little rearranging in the stamp room and we were looking at arrangements for CHA yesterday {woot woot!}.

As for stamping stuff…
The Lil’ Inker design team is hosting a series of hops this week to introduce to you a new line of stamps {super duper cute ones!}. So, if you didn’t find your way from Emily’s blog, take a moment and start at the beginning HERE. Today we are featuring the new set, Artic Friends…

Isn’t that image darling? I had to go with some fun bright colors to keep up with the cuteness. While not exactly what I think of for traditional winter colors, I think it works with these guys! Gotta love the sentiment, too! I know just who I will be giving this card to and I have a snarky lil’ comment to go on the inside…hehe!

ETA the set details…

Well, it wouldn’t be a Lil’ Inker hop without some prizes involved! Leave a comment on each hop post for a chance to win one of two $10 gift certicates or possibly, the entire release!

I won’t keep you here any longer! Hop, hop, hop along to Sarah’s blog for another peek at this cutie patootie set!

TCP Tuesday Color Challenge…

Posted by Jen | Holidays, The Cat's Pajamas, cards, challenges | Friday, December 9, 2011

TGIF Stampy Friends!

I’ve had a lot of fun stamping this week and have a few more things to share with you before I take some time off at the end of the year. Don’t worry, I’ll still be posting the SFYTT winner on Christmas Day! As you know, I currently work with 4 stamp companies and I do guest design positions, as well. Needless to say, it can be a lot of work and I am looking forward to taking the last 2 weeks off {for the most part} from blogging, etc.

As for now, I am here and have a card to share that I made for this week’s super fun TCP Tuesday challenge…

tcptues188

What fun colors for holiday and upcoming Valentine cards! I really wanted to use the new set, J*lly H*liday, along with the Big Ticket CutUps die from The Cat’s Pajamas and this is what I came up with…

{please pardon the horrid lighting!!}
jollytcptues_color

In addition to the Big Ticket CutUps, I also use the new Snowflake Lace Paper CutUps as an accent panel. Love this die! I am accumulating quite a few snowflakes on my desk, too! It’s important to me that I get a lot of use out of a product. This die allows for you to use both the positive and negative cuts…twice the fun!

Want to play along with this challenge? All details, along with where you upload your creation are HEREon Alma’s blog.

Good luck and happy stamping!
