It’s Anni-VERVE-sary Time…

Happy Saturday, friends! You’ve found your way to the next stop on the Verve Anni-VERVE-sary spotlight hop for today. Hopefully, you started at Julee’s blog and made your way here from Betty’s blog. If not, take a moment to rewind so you don’t miss a thing or a chance to leave a comment for an opportunity at some great prizes!

Have you been missing your VERVE STAMPS…new ones, at least? I know that I have! Julee, the owner and designer extraordinaire, has been busy taking good care of her twin boys born earlier this year. But, she is back {and in a BIG WAY} to releasing new product for VERVE. There are TWENTY THREE new stamps and dies being released on August 24th.

Today’s spotlight is on the new {upcoming} set, DOODLED OCCASIONS

Detail shot…

My mom has requested that I make some sympathy cards for her to have on hand, so I decided to use the combination of the larger and smaller sympathy sentiments in this set. To embellish this card, I cut 3 flowers with the SCALLOPED FLOWER dies {also being released on the 24th} and then stacked them and topped them off with a button tied with twine.

Do you recognize this sketch? Yep, it’s this month’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY {sponsored by VERVE!}…
