Lil’ Inker New Release Blog Hop…

Hey there, friends! Are you having fun as you hop along to see all the new releases from Lil’ Inker Designs? I’m loving the new images and the Color Team has done an amazing job showcasing them. Ironically enough, I did not color on my card. When I first saw these images, I thought of the simplicity of just stamping them on kraft. I’m sure white looks great, too, but I had a certain vision in my mind with kraft and went with it.

I have to admit that I love the image from the SCHOOL GIRL set from the new Sugar Kissed Cottage line on the kraft cardstock, but I’m not totally in love with this card. I’m kinda off my A game right now as I deal with the stress of selling our home and buying another. I’ll have more details about that in the weeks to come, but I just wanted to let y’all know that’s what else is going on in my life.

In addition to the cutie patootie image from LID, I also used the Flags & Tags large banner die, the smaller Sentiment Flag die and a heart from the Of the Heart die trio {products shown below}.

I’ll be giving this card to Ellie on her first day of first grade in a couple of weeks. Have I mentioned that I can’t wait for school to start?…LOL! Alright, I’ll quit the jabber and send you off to your next stop…MARY JOHNSON! Happy hopping!

    Love the banners on the top and how you stamped on kraft.Also the pearl details are a great touch.
