Ugh…Purple!!…
Oct 31st, 2007 by Jen
I can never seem to capture the true color of purple when taking pictures. This bag really is cute, but this picture just does it no justice. Ugh…purple!!!
Aren’t those cute flower stamps!?!? They are from MFT’s Build a Bouquet which is available to you at the stroke of midnight {EST}. I have a feeling that Kim will be selling out of these pretty quickly, so be sure to get yours. I am looking forward to seeing what everyone does with this set. The rest of the DT has come up with some way cute stuff. You can find links to their stuff HERE.
This is one of my genie bags. It is the smaller version and uses a white craft sack that is available at Wal-Mart in the craft aisle. I layered the flower in Pale Plum, Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant {SU!}. I added some bling bling with Swarovski crystals. I have become such a brat that I don’t like using regular rhinestones now. I want that shimmer that Swarovski crystals give. I added some matching tissue paper to finish off the project. I’ll probably be using this bag for a birthday, but I want to make one in blues for a wintery bag and reds and greens for a Christmas-y bag. I’ll be a genie bag making fool…if I can find the time!!
Want to party with the MFT crew? Be sure to go to this SCS forum for the party! There will be a challenge and a scavenger hunt for everyone to participate in! Yeah! Happy Halloween everyone!! Have fun and stay safe!

How cute! I know what you mean about the purple! Then again I guess you have to use purple to take pictures of it! Purple always seems to be last on my list! Love these new stamps though! Can’t wait to see what everyone else does with them too!
I know what you mean about not being able to capture certain colours on the camera. Purple, blue and green are my worst enemies *lol* Your bag is beautiful. The build a bouquet set looks just perfect too. TFS.
Great bag, Jen — love how you used the flowers to create a wonderful pattern!
This is kind of a kooky comment but when I was scrolling down your blog, the images on the front looked like they were moving.
