My Favorite Things Countdown, Day 3…
This is HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS and it can be yours August 1st at www.mftstamps.com
It’s Christmas…in the middle of summer!!! Well, I have to admit it was a little hard to get in the Christmas spirit when the a/c is running non-stop, but HOW FLIPPIN’ CUTE ARE THESE IMAGES!?!?! I gotta tell ya, I was humming, “There’s no place like home for the holidays…” As you can tell by my samples, I was especially drawn to the Christmas tree image. Maybe it’s because the tree is one of my most favorite things about Christmas time {even though we have a fake one}.
Anywhooooo….
All of the samples that I made are 4.25″ square cards. I must admit that every year I have worldly intentions of making grand Christmas cards. Last year I bought photo cards. The year before that I made about 10 cards and then went to Target and bought the rest. So this is my year to hold true to my intentions and actually make all my cards. However, we all know that we do not want to slave over 50+ cards for it to sit on someone’s mantle for two weeks and then call the recycle bin home. So, these are 3 (so far) choices I have for my Christmas cards. Which one do you like the best?
BTW~The last card uses the dots from the Behind The Scenes set…an essential in my collection now!!!

I like the first two the best. Beautiful cards.
These are great, loving the stamps.;
I love them all but see sparkly red Stickles on those ornaments on the first card to set it off!! Hard to choose!
Maybe I’m an oddball, but I like the 3rd card. I love them all, but after making 40 very complicated cards last year, I’m all about simplicity. I think I’m just going to do like 4 designs and make 10 of each of them. After last year, I had to trade all the stamps I used…I just couldn’t look at them any more.
I am loving that wide ribbon….yum!
All three are darling but my pick would be #2. This MFT set looks like a must have to me!!
I couldn’t choose just one! They are all wonderful! Great cards Jen!!!
I like the third card best! The red and white color scheme, ribbon and the stamp you used remind me of a classic and simple Christmas.
Your cards are so adorable! I love this set too! Cute, cute, cute!!
The first and third are my favorites and the ones I plan to case.
I make about 80 cards and it is a pain but I love it. I did it for two years. I try not to think of the ones that get trashed. And don’t forget square envelopes need more postage. There are some tricks to fitting square cards in rectangle envelopes without them sliding.
Good job getting started!
