Rainy Day Tea Time…
See THIS POST if you want to enter to win stamps {and see why I get to give them to you
}!!
For those of you who live in Texas, you know the phrase, “If you don’t like the weather, just wait 10 minutes.” Well, I happened to like the weather this morning, but apparently Mother Nature had some plans of her own. It was nice and sunny early this morning, but soon enough the black clouds started rolling in. I was able to snap a few shot of their creepiness. Ick, right?!?!
So, when I sat down to stamp I wanted something that would warm me up from all this grossness happening outside my window. I grabbed my My Favorite Things set that is going to be released on Friday. Mmmmm….gross weather outside….hot tea inside. This card also uses the colors from today’s Color Challenge on SCS. The Word Window Punch with “Tea Time” stamped on it was a little bit of an afterthought. It is actually covering up a little boo boo. LOL ![]()
Stamps: My Favorite Things
Paper: Cool Caribbean, Garden Green, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Cool Caribbean, Garden Green, Chocolate Chip, Palette Noir
Other: 3D glue dots, Dimensionals, Word Window Punch, Brad, Ribbon, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Eyelets

Oh what a cute card! I’ve seen the stamp several times and was thinking “no big deal” and now I’m re-thinking my thinking. LOL! Love the colors.
Wow - those are some clouds! Fabulous card though!!
aren’t those tornado clouds? Did you get any severe weather? I hope all is well and safe with you now!
Amy
Now those are scarry lookin’ clouds!! Wow!!
Great card!
What scary weather, but what a great card, being a tea drinker, my insides are warm just looking at it, as a matter of fact, I am going to make myself a cupt of tea right now.
Miss Jen, don’t you know there are no mistakes in stamping…only opportunities for embellishment! Wonderful card…makes me long for a cuppa joe! Wanna join me?
Love the matting on the center image — really makes it pop. Also, the faux eyelets on the side are really neat too. Great card. Hmm… I think I need to fix myself a cup of tea!
Thanks for the inspiration.
Heather
oh, i encountered that scary weather this morning as i was driving up 121 to grapevine–very scary and eery and NO planes coming in or out of the airport is always a bad sign!!! the card is cuteness, though. don’t consider them boo-boos, consider them boo-yays!! a happy mistake is a GOOD THING.
love, martha stewart.
I’m building an ark, wanna come? LOL
Such a cute card. HUGS!
