I Might Be Crazy…

Posted by Jen | cards | Wednesday, February 28, 2007

But, I can’t decide if it’s a good or bad kind of crazy. I made this card for today’s sketch challenge on Splitcoast. I subscribed to Jami’s “More Is More” concept of creating. Not sure what I really think of this yet. So tell me, what kind of crazy this card is…good or bad?? Yes, you can tell me if it’s bad!

I like it. The colors are great. It feels good to step out of the comfort zone sometimes and you’ve made a great card here. I usually go for simple and straight-forward (I attribute a lot of that on my part to laziness…hehehe) but I do like this very much. TFS!

I think it’s a good kind of crazy. In fact I don’t think it’s crazy at all, just good, in fact more than good, it’s great, no more that great it’s awesome.

No, it’s not bad crazy at all - I like it! I might have left off the ribbon, though or maybe used plain grosgrain without the dots. But I do love the colors and composition! Good work :-)

I’m all about simple and I think this card is really well designed. There is “more” - more layers, more texture, more pop. But it’s not cluttered at all. I particularly like the strong contrasting colors and clear design/layout. I love it!

I think the card is great! You did a great job of making it a fun card. I don’t think it is too much at all. Thanks for the inspiration!

I do know what you mean, I keep looking at your card, you have just enough of the other colors to balance the green and the ribbon and the cuttlebugging help to balance the stronger colors. The coloring on the flower is gorgeous. I have decided I absolutely, without doubt, ……. LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT! It is incredibly striking and eye-catching.
