Hey, stampy friends {and family that come to check in on what I’m up to}! Today is a fun blog hopping day all in support of fellow stamper, Julie Ranae Murray, who we hope won’t be singing “All I Want For Christmas is my Two Front Teeth…” come December!
Before I get to her story, I want to take care of a little “hop business.” This is a HUGE blog hop and while we hope that there won’t be any breaks along the way, it is almost inevitable there will be. If you find yourself lost, you can always check back in at the beginning at THE SWEET STAMP SHOP blog. They were the ones responsible for organizing this great hop with some A-MAAA-ZING goodies up for grabs {more on that in a second!}. If everything has been going smoothly, you should have come here from Alice Wertz’s blog and later I will be sending you along to Stephanie Muzzulin’s blog. But for now, sit back, have a cuppa joe and relax.

So, why are we having this hop? Since my post is in the middle of the hop, I am guessing that you have read her story a time or two, but let me do a quick recap. Julie Ranae is currently without her two front teeth. I am pretty sure that this is something that you {and I} don’t even want to imagine having to go through. Due to medications taken when she was young, her teeth were in compromised condition and she recently chipped her front teeth. The dentist said that they could not be saved and recommended they be removed. At that time, he said that he would work a payment plan out with her. Unfortunately, when she called to make the appointment for the impressions she was told that she needed to pay $4000 up front and then another $3000 to finish the entire process. So now, she is {front} toothless and we are all coming together to raise a some money to put a dent in that bill and a smile back on Julie’s face.
I mentioned above that The Sweet Stamp Shop was the organizer of this ‘lil’” hop. I figured this was a pretty good time to check out and play with their stamps. I found this great set called OLD SCHOOL ROCK and knew that it must be mine. I love the fun, whimsy retro images…

A couple of detail shots…

Now that you’ve read Julie’s story and you’ve seen the card I made for the hop, can you help out our friend? If you can, and every penny counts, please donate here…
Remember those goodies up for grab that I mentioned a second ago? Well, there is over $2500 of those goodies waiting to be sent off to some very lucky and supportive people…like you {wink}. I have been informed that prizes will be drawn from a list of commenters {be sure to comment here and on as many of the other hop posts as you can…I know there is A LOT}, a list of donors {please help Julie!} and hop hosts {if I win, I will gladly give it to a commenter or donor!}.
Like I said, it’s a hop, so I can’t keep you here forever. Hop, hop, hop along to Stephanie Muzzulin’s blog! Happy hopping and THANK YOU for your support!
