Hooray it’s Saturday! Not only is it Saturday, it’s the first Saturday of the month. Not only is it Saturday, it’s the first Saturday of football season and it’s opening day for OU! Boomer Sooner, Baby!
Ok, back to the whole “it’s the first Saturday of the month” business! As you know, I love the first Saturday of the month because I get to introduce the Designer of the Month. I am sure that you will recognize this girl! She is everywhere I turn lately, and her stuff is HOT! Please welcome…

A little about Tori in her own words…
I’m a “work-from-home” mom who left the rush of the corporate world a year ago to start an in-home daycare. I love being home every day for my kids and as an added bonus, it gives me so much more stamping time! I look forward to my afternoon “recess” each day during nap-time. My “Wild” kids are Parker - 7, Kaiden - 5, and Gabrielle - 3 and I can’t forget my amazing husband, Jeremy — we just celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary and are coming up on 20 years as a couple. He puts up with my chaos and supports me in everything! I love to stay busy and challenge my mind, so working with some of the most amazing stamp companies in the industry has been a huge honor and has led to so many amazing friendships! I’m excited to join the SFYTT Sisters for September… bring on the sketches!
Here’s this week’s sketch…

Here’s my take on the sketch {sans a panel…ooooops!}, using the brand spankin’ new MFT Pure Innocence stamp, Princess…

Can I tell you something?…
I love this card! I have been a little down lately about my stamping time and how I feel like I have just been doing things to get them done. I feel that my creativity has been waning because of that. I have liked *most* of my my recent projects, but there haven’t been a whole lot that I feel are up to my creative potential. This card has come to my rescue {hopefully!}. I don’t know that it really took me that much longer than any of my past projects {that I stare at blankly trying to come up with something}, but all the details were just coming to me. There are a lot of details going on, too!…stitching, embossing, lots of dies and then some! The circular main image panel alone is sponged, embossed and paper pierced. It’s not that uncommon for me to do that to a cardstock panel, but rarely do I try to give pattern paper any extra “umph.”
Here are a couple detail shots of the little extras…
The princess is colored with Copics and accented with Diamond Stickles. The flower was made by backing a flower made with MFT’s Rolled Flower Die-Namic with a scallop circle and then adding a button that has linen thread tied in a bow 3 times.

The long panel on the bottom is embossed {SU! embossing folder…can’t remember the name} and matted with MFT’s Open Scallop Die-Namic adorned with Swarovski crystals {the blingy-est!}. I tied more of the linen thread around this panel and topped it off with a bow and button matching the one above…
