Happy first Saturday of the month! I have A LOT going on this weekend, on top of being able to introduce this month’s Designer of the Month! I’ll get to all my jibber jabber in a moment, but first let me welcome…

STEPHANIE MUZZULIN as November’s Designer of the Month…

A little about Stephanie in her own words…
Hi! My name is Stephanie Muzzulin. I am from Connecticut. I have been
married for 10 years to my wonderfully supportive husband. I have two
beautiful children Mackenzie 7 and Codey 5. I started paper crafting
about six years ago and I have been hooked ever since!!! It has only
been these past couple years that I have been getting really serious
about card making and just really enjoying it and having some amazing
opportunities. I love sharing my work on my blog and more than
anything I love the people that I have met along the way!!!!

I’ll get to the sketch in just a moment {cue annoying lady saying that in Office Space}, but right now I just wanted to share a little about my weekend. Today is Boutique Day at Scrapper’s Boutique where I teach and create kits for sale. This is my latest {limited edition} kit that will be debuted {sounds so important now, huh? **wink**} today during our Boutique Day celebration…

It’s a 5.5″ square shadow box with white vinyl lettering {I designed the sentiment myself in Make The Cut} and features die cuts from both The Cat’s Pajamas {soon to be released} and My Favorite Things {released}. If you are local, please stop by and say “Hi!”

Needless to say, that will be fun! Then, I get to come home and craft some more with a friend. We are going to make a holiday themed cupcake wreath, and I am sure we will come up with some more trouble to get into. All that followed by a Sunday funday birthday party/crop! I’ll be sure to squeeze in some family fun, too! I have a feeling another showing of Toy Story 3 is up Ellie’s sleeve! LOL! Then Monday has to come…BOO!

Does it look somewhat familiar to something that I have done recently? Well, just in case you don’t have every piece of my work memorized **wink** LOL, I based this sketch on THIS CHRISTMAS TAG. I even did another tag using the sketch. This time I used a sentiment {and fun border die!} from the upcoming TCP release, Winter Wishes…

Saturday, already? Halloween, still? WOW, this week went by fast and I love Halloween, but I can’t believe it’s not over yet! LOL! Ellie had a Halloween party at school on Thursday, one today and, of course, Halloween Trick-or-Treating tomorrow. She is a mermaid this year and Nic is going to be her crab{by} friend. I hope the both of them will cooperate for a few pics!

Here’s this week’s sketch! It’s based off of THIS card that I did a little while back. I have to say that this is one of my faves of all time and this will certainly be a “go to” one for me!

Detail shot {Stickles are still wet here}…

I used some “old” alpha stamps from Making Memories to create the sentiment on the banner. This came together so quickly and easily. I will definitely be keeping this die close at hand to make more of these!

I’m writing this from bed on Friday night. I spent a good majority of the afternoon sleeping off a minor episode of food borne illness. After last week’s stomach flu episodes with the kiddos and fighting off whatever was in the air earlier this week, this was not welcome at all…not that it ever is, but it was kinda like a slap in the face. Fortunately, Tony was able to take a couple hours off work to give me a break from the baby food and spit up was not making it the whole experience any better! LOL!

Needless to say, there has been NO stamping going on over here, so I don’t have a sample {from me} to go along with this sketch…

Whew…I survived this week! Between taking and picking up Tony from the airport, meaning I played single mommy for a couple of days, and taking care of 2 kiddos with the stomach flu…and meetings…and deadlines…not to mention 7 blog posts… I would say that just surviving is the perfect description! After Project House Disinfection, I got some time to stamp and craft…thank goodness!!

Leigh O’Brien has been a wonderful part of this team and I thank her thank her greatly for her FANTABULOUS contributions. Unfortunately, she has suffered an injury that has kept her from stamping for the past few weeks and she will be out for several more to come.
