Sites of the week

Yesterday I told you that I have been working on a bunch of new release stuff, and I finally get to show some of it today…YAY! These 2 stamp sets will be available from The Cat’s Pajamas on Friday, May 29. One of the sets is a fun camping set that has original TCP style! This bear is probably my favorite image from the set and I paired it with the other set being released…an alphabet!

The challenge for this week comes from Carole, the Hipster Hostess with the Mostess. I knew that this sketch would be fun the moment that I saw it. I can’t wait to see what everyone else does with it!

So, wanna play along with the TCP Tuesday challenge?…EVERYONE can! Here’s what you are gonna want to know…

Wow, I was not ready to wake up this morning…but, here I am! Did you all have a great weekend? We had so much fun yesterday. First, we started the morning off at the duck pond…where there were cutie patootie baby ducks. Then, we headed over to Wendy’s {blech!} for a quickie lunch before hit the zoo. We really had only planned on the duck pond, but the zoo was just around the corner and we figured “why not?” From there it was off to Barnes & Noble just for the heck of it. I love bookstores and this one has a train set that Ellie can play with, too.

I have a bunch of stamping projects to work on this week, including new releases from Verve {releasing this week} and The Cat’s Pajamas {planned release for next week}. Today I have a couple Bella cards to show you. The first one is one of my fave Bella cards that I have made. I especially dig the gingham paper and I adore the sentiment…cracks me up! Whatcha think?…

The second one is from last week’s challenge. Emily offered up this photo as inspiration…

My first thought…”Um, what should I do with this?” That was probably my second, third, fourth and fifth thought, too! LOL! I decided to pull out the Kettos that I have, because I figured they were the “edgier” of the bunch and then used the colors that I saw in the image. I don’t know why I shied away from black, but I did. So here is what I came up with…

Happy Sunday everyone! So far this weekend has been very relaxing. Yesterday was rainy and we just hung out inside most of the day after Little Gym. In the evening we ventured out for dinner and a quick trip to Target. Aren’t we just so exciting? LOL! We get a little wild and crazy and go to the zoo today …if it decides to warm up a little!

Anywhoooo…
Today I have a set a three golf themed cards to show you using the Boys Will Be Boys set from Taylored Expressions (I believe this set is sold out at the moment, because I can’t find it on the site). Two of them are very similar to the card that I did for the Taylored Expressions release HERE. The other one uses the same stamps, just in a different layout. I think that I mentioned this before, but this is most definitely one of my favorite masculine sets ever! The images are fun, and sized perfectly. Also, there are sentiments that are cute, but not too “cutesy” to match the images.

Since the images are stamped on Kraft paper, I also stamped the ball on white and then punched it out and adhered it to the main image. I also put a little bit of Diamond Glaze on top of it.

Hey girls! It’s Saturday and that means… that it’s raining again on the weekend! LOL! Besides that, it means that I have another Sketch For You To Try! At the beginning of this month I thought that these were some of the best sketches that I have come up with…it’s possible that I was wrong! LOL! Two of the last three, including this one, have given me all sorts of fits. I guess it’s a challenge that way, tho! I hope that you are enjoying them, even if they are not my personal faves.
