I’m feeling a bit under the weather. I can’t imagine where I got it after taking care of Ellie’s sniffing and hacking last week. I’ll be posting tomorrow. I can’t wait to show you the RAKs I have received.

I just wanted to post my Sketch For You To Try tonight. I am off to my stamp room to create a sample. Please note that this is a square card layout. Well, yesterday you saw my local stamping friends. I’ve posted pics with other friends. You know Tony a little from him posting here on the first Sunday of the month. I think that I have mentioned sweet lil’ Ellie a time…or two.
But…
Do you know my furry friends? I just wanted to take a moment to share some pics of my precious furry friends that share our home. Gracie is our sly black cat that loves to sleep on my tooshie at night. We got her when we lived in San Diego. The lady that sold her to us had named her “Oprah.” Thinking that it was a bit socially inappropriate, we decided to rename her. It took a couple days of going back and forth between “Smokey” {his choice} and NOT SMOKEY!!! {my choice} and we finally settled on Gracie. Abby is the brown and white dog. She is part Corgi and part Australian Shepard…we think. When we got her…free in the grocery store parking lot…they told us that she was half German Shepard and half Siberian Husky. Imagine our surprise when we ended up with dog with legs only 6 inches long!! Cooper is the black and white dog. We lovingly call him “the in the way dog,” because no matter what you are doing he will find a way to be under your feet or right on top of you. If I was a real Texan, I’d probably say “Bless your lil’ heart” to him all day long. He is such a sweetie. We got him through a rescue agency who had bought/rescued him for $25 from a girl that just let him run around outside all day without any food or water. I think he ended up with a pretty good home!! I got the idea to post about them after looking at one of my new favorite websites…

What could be better?
On Tuesday a bunch of us went to our local stamp store, Imprints. Who’s a bunch of us? Susan, Tex, Sharon, Shannan, Emily and Jenn enjoyed some shopping and afterward we cruised on down to Don Pablo’s for some yummies. Here are some pics of us at lunch. I forgot to take pics at the store and Shannan was not able to join us for lunch, so don’t go thinking I don’t like her. I just didn’t get a pic. {{{hugs Shannan}}}
