This set truly has endless possibilities! That is the first thing that I thought when I got it yesterday! Last night I was able to make 2 samples. I am going to share only one with you today, though, because I am having trouble getting a good picture of the other one. I am going to wait until late afternoon for some great natural light and cross my fingers.
The base of this card is SU! Chocolate Chip and is my favorite size… 5″ square. The DP used here is Cosmo Cricket, the ribbon and ric rac are from May Arts and will be available to you through Verve Visual. The images and sentiment are stamped on pearlized cream paper and OMG, I love that stuff!!!! This AWESOME paper is available now for you in the Verve Visual Shop. Run…don’t walk and get some of it!! You will not be disappointed. This card started out completely different than the vision that I had for it, but I like the end result. I feel that I stepped out of my comfort zone {not much though} to create something a little fun and a little funky {cool funky, not stinky funky!…**wink**}

This comes with some mixed emotion. I am at a wonderful place in my life. I have a beautiful daughter, a wonderful husband and overall a great life. What’s there to complain about, right? I just don’t want to be older!! LOL! Fair enough, I say!
Last night I stayed up late {midnight is late for me!} and worked on a bunch of projects that have upcoming deadlines. Towards the end of my crafting, I decided that I wanted to do a project that had no deadline. Just something fun, bright and cheery. This is another scrappy card, meaning it is more scrapping stuff than stamping. It’s going out as a RAK today to someone that could use a smile.
I just love this DP called “Girl Circles” from the Paper Studio. I picked it up on a recent trip to Hobby Lobby. The green appears to be a little brighter in the picture than it is in real life. It is more celery than anything. Although the DP does not have any blues in it, I thought that SU! Soft Sky coordinated nicely with it. Rarely do I reach for a color that is not in a DP or part of my main image. The stamped sentiment is from Verve Visual’s Thoughtful Phrases set. VV is coming out with a new set on the 20th. If you want a sneakie peakie click HERE! You won’t be disappointed!! This is pretty much a sneak peak for me, too. Julee sent me this set to work with, but somewhere, somehow the address label got demolished and it made its way back to Julee. I am hoping to get it either today or tomorrow so I can create some of my own sneak peaks for you!!
