Boy, Oh Boy…
It was very clear at my ultrasound yesterday that we will be welcoming a boy in January…

Happy Friday everyone! Today is going to be an ABC Friday, but without a paper project. I have a few pics and Ellie-isms to share with you. If you are not familiar with Ellie, let me tell you that she is super sweet, super kind and pretty darn funny. I really couldn’t ask for a better kiddo!! She has her moments, though!
Last night while brushing her teeth, I had to continually ask her to do something {can’t even remember what that particular something was now}. I had to ask her several times and was getting a little frustrated and said, “Ellie, I don’t want to have to ask you do something 3 times.” Very sweetly she looks at me and says, “Well, then ask me 4 times.” For that, I had no words!
Here are a few pictures from her last day at Little Gym. The first 3 are a series of her doing a forward roll, then there is the one of her getting her medal and the last one is her cheery smile that brings me so much happiness.
Now, for one last story. This one also comes from yesterdays adventures. We made a quick run to Albertson’s to get some groceries and I was getting ground beef from the butcher. She decided that she wanted some, too {of her very own}. When he handed the meat to me and asked if I needed anything else, she piped up and YELLED… “um, MAN…gimme some of that, too, please.” I know that it was so much funnier in person, but I can’t believe that my {almost 3yo} child just chimed in with this!! LOL!
See you tomorrow for a another SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY!
Well, I didn’t get as much done as I needed/wanted to yesterday, but I do have a couple of things to show you today. I guess the pics of graduation fall under the “ABC Friday” category, but I told ya that today was gonna be a little bit of a catch up day, too.
Tony graduated from TCU with his MBA last week. We only went to the short ceremony…thank goodness! I don’t think that Ellie could have sat still for the 3 hour program on Saturday!! She was so cute! When Tony was on stage she yelled “YAY, DADDY!” so that everyone could here. It was, of course, followed by a crowd full of “Awwww”s. Here a few pics from the big evening…
Now, on to the stamping portion of this post…
Both of the cards that I have to show you today use Stamping Bella stamps. The first one is actually from last week’s challenge to make a birthday card. The second is a fun one that will be going to a “rockstar.”
Have a great Friday! See you tomorrow for another SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY!
We are home again after a fast and fun filled trip to NYC this weekend! WOW! We flew in Friday night, crammed as much as we possibly could on Saturday and then flew back yesterday. When I say that we crammed in as much as we could, I mean it! We were at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan {very cool place!} when the doors opened. From there we headed to Gray’s Papaya for some lunch {we are fans of the show “How I Met Your Mother,” and they always mention this place, so we gave it a shot}. After that we zoomed on over to American Museum of Natural History and took in all the dino action we could get. From there, we hopped a cab over to FAO Shwarz where we {meaning my dear, sweet, beautiful daughter} had a little meltdown over a princess dress, but after a little chat {and a few promises later} did walk out with a toy of her choosing {after playing on the big piano}. After that, a quick snack {I LOVE NY food, so I made sure to get my fill}. Tony and Ellie went back to the hotel for a happy nappy while I hitched a ride {in a cab} over to Greenwich Village to a little {and I mean LITTLE} stamp store called The Ink Pad {very cool place, but teeny tiny. Then, back to the hotel {after 2 cabbies told me “no” to where I was going…on the other side of town}. I rested for a moment and then we headed off to Times Square to take in all the lights and have some real NYC pizza. Whew! Click on the pics below for a larger view.

Signs I found interesting {click for larger view}…

It was so much fun, but all good things must come to an end and now we are back in Scrunchyville…If you are a Sex In The City fan, you know what this means.
Ok, now onto a little stamping! This is the card that I made for last week’s Bellarific Friday challenge. I love the color inspiration from this picture…

Emily will be uploading another challenge today, so check out the Bella blog when you get a chance!
