Lots & Lots To Share…
Greetings! I have lots to share today, both stamping and non-stamping related.

First, I would like to thank the Cat Pack from The Cat’s Pajamas for surprising me with a Welcome Baby Boy Blog Hop as their TCP Tuesday this week. The start of the hop is HERE on Joanne’s blog. THANK YOU GIRLS!!
Second, I have another Verve sneak peek for you. Like yesterday, I made an ATC. Unlike yesterday, I didn’t make it into a card {just ran out of time before baby got here}. This is from the soon to be released set, Accent Notes…
The Kraft paper with the white pattern is not DP, it’s stamped with white pigment ink with one of the accent stamps. The sentiment is framed under the stamped scallop circle frame that is popped up on glue dots. You can see more sneak peeks from the Verve DT on the Verve blog HERE.
Lots of family and friends have been asking about how everything baby went and for some more pics. Well, I will start out with the pics and then tell you the birth story.

The story of Nic…
Last Wednesday Tony and I ventured to the hospital around 9am. I had to be there by 10 for my scheduled C-section {lil’ Nic was breach} at noon. We got there and did all the paperwork and such. The blood pressure machine said that I was calm, cool and collected, but my hands were pouring sweat. After they got me all hooked up to an IV we played the waiting game and watched America’s Funniest Home Videos on TV to keep my nerves {and Tony’s} at bay. Just a little before noon they came to get me to roll me away to the operating room. I thought that Tony would be with me the whole way, but he had to stay behind until I had my spinal block. That’s when I kinda lost it. I shed a few nervous tears and took some {really} deep breaths before they gave me some “Vitamin V”…aka a small dose of chill out drug. After I was numb, they went to get Tony. He said it seemed like an eternity waiting, but I think it was more like 15 minutes. My doc and his nurse {2 of my favorite people!} came in. Then the start of the surgery was called at 12:07pm and Nicolas was introduced to the world at 12:12pm. I remember talking to Tony a little during those 5 minutes and asking the doc what was happening, but none of the details really. After he was born, they brought him around and I couldn’t have been more delighted!! He was screaming like a mad cat and I had to laugh. After a bit, I was off to recovery and then off to the 4th floor where I called home for about 4 days. I couldn’t have been happier with all of the staff at the hospital! They were WONDERFUL! I think I had better service there than any hotel/resort I have ever stayed at…LOL! Now we are home, Nic is a week old and all is going well. Thank you to everyone for their love, support, friendship and well wishes. Love ya guys!!

Congratulations on your little guy. I don’t see it in any of the other pictures but the one with Grandma, I really see the resemblance to Ellie. Best Wishes to you and your family. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Thanks for the new pictures
He definitely has the new born gaze going on. Brings back lots of memories. …
I too didn’t remember much while in the OR other than hearing everyone mentioning how big my son’s head was! The pediatrician told us he would grow into it some day too.
Ah yes, recovery…in there for about 3 hours. Unfortunately, anesthetic and I don’t get along well at all. I even prewarned the anesthesiologist before the tap and they said it’s different from normal anesthetic so I should be fine - NOT!! Was getting a bit nauseous in recovery and when they wheeled me upstairs to my room where everyone had had pictures taken with my son already and were waiting for me, I promptly puked after they they transferred me from the gurney to the bed as the motion was too much for my stomach. The next 24 hours were spent puking too. Thankfully, all that was in my stomach was water. Ahhhhh, thanks for the walk down memory lane LOL!
Hoping you get some sleep between feedings and that you can walk stairs a bit better now too. Keep the pictures coming
Congratulations on your new addition. He is absolutley beautiful.

What a little sweetie! Congratulations!
Congratulations on the arrival of your handsome little boy. I too remember the day that I went in for my scheduled C-section for my son. My first child was an emergency C so there was no time for the nerves to build. Being that my sons was scheduled we too went through all of the emotions. I was scared! You are so much more aware of what is going on around you. BUT the reward far out ways the fear. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
Best wishes,
He’s beautiful! Glad you had such a great experience.
Hope all is well!
AWE JEN! Congratulations!!! Nic is a doll! So glad things went off without a hitch and that both Mommy and son are happy and healthy! God Bless!

Congratulations Jen! So happy to hear that your new addition has arrived and everyone is doing well. You sure are superwoman; barely home and posting lots of new creations. Love how you incorporated the ATC’s as the focal point of a full size card. Never would have thought of that….
Oh Jen!! He’s BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks for the sharing the pictures and story! Love your ATC!
I love the colors you used in your card! Amazing. And your baby is just adorable.
I love your story. While both of my children were breach the first was more comical than precious. After all the Vitamin V and spinal tap was done they started with thi incision and I had a ferocious itch…right on my belly. Another dose of Vitamin V fixed that. LOL Such a wonderful moment. Thanks for sharing!
PS. I’m hear for the Verve Sneak Peek and it’s wonderful too!
Congrats again and so glad you’re all home now! Yeay!!! Thanks for sharing some photos…he’s so cute and love the photo of Ellie and her “brudda” - delightful in every way! Hugs!!!
