You Grow Girl!…

Long ago, I saw Debbie Olson pop up the belly on this Bella stamp. I thought that it was such a cute idea and it was like a light bulb going off…why didn’t I think of that!?! I have had this stamp forever and keep saying that I am going to do that one day. Well, that one day is here! This is my version of the popped up Teddybella

POP!…

I paired this image with some paper from the Twitterpated line, also found in the Bella store. The rhinestones are from the $1 section at Mike’s. They are really spark-a-lay for a buck! Not like Swarovskis, but they definitely do the job! As for the flower, it’s a Maya Road plastic flower topped with a couple Primas.

Have a great day! I actually have an ABC project to show you tomorrow! See ya then!

Simple Bride Card…

I have been hopelessly behind on some things that I have been wanting to get done. Stamping with this new Whiff of Joy stamp {Willow as Bride} is one of them. I got in the mail a few weeks ago and it has been staring at me. Finally, I got a chance to use it the other day. I just love the image and I knew that the rest of the card didn’t need a whole lot more going on. So here’s my very simple design that really lets the image “speak” on it’s own.

At first, I just had the white and Soft Sky, but then I added the black and loved how it gave a little “pop.” In addition to the black for pop, I added some sparkle to the veil…

I know that I have shared this tip before, but just in case anyone out there missed it…
To get a more even sparkle, I use a Sakura Stardust pen along all the edges and then draw all the sparkle in by using an aqua-painter filled with rubbing alcohol. I know that there are a lot of fans of the Spica pens, but I just can’t get them to work for me the way that I would like them to, especially over larger areas.
