Happy Tuesday!…better yet, Happy TCP Tuesday!

This week I am your Hipster Hostess with the Mostess and I am bringing you a very Valentine-y color challenge to play with…

The challenge is to use Red, Pink, Dark Gray and Black. If you are missing one of those colors, do the best that you can with what you have. I like to stick with 3 colors most of the time, but these 4 just seem to work well together. I can’t wait to see all the creative ways you combine them! So, wanna play along with the TCP Tuesday challenge?…EVERYONE can! Here’s what you are gonna want to know…
1. Each a week one of the The Cat’s Pajamas DT Members will host a challenge.
2. The challenges will vary {stamp, color, theme/inspiration, sketch, etc.}
3. You will have until {this} Saturday night to complete the challenge.
4. Link your project on this week’s hostess’ challenge announcement. This week you will link your project on THIS post, using MR. LINKY.
5. TCP stamps are not required, but of course, highly encouraged. {Unless it is a challenge calling for a specific stamp}
6. There will be one winner each month. They will be deemed that month’s Swankiest Stamper and get $25 in Cat’s Cash {money to spend on the TCP site!}.

Happy Saturday! As some of you are reading this I am enduring another boot camp. The “pain is weakness leaving your body” is bringing her best friend to help with the workout today. Let’s just say if I go missing, you know what happened!

Being that it is the first Saturday of the month, I get to introduce you to a brand spankin’ new Designer of the Month. You know her, you love her, so please welcome Jody Morrow!

A little about Jody, in her own words…
Before I tell you about me, I have to say THANK YOU to Jen for asking me to be her guest designer for February. I am honored that she asked and thrilled to have a sketch to play with for the next 4 weeks! I LOVE working with her sketches!

My love affair with stamping started about 6 years ago. Through stamping, I developed an addiction to ribbon, which spurred the idea for the title of my blog: Confessions of a Ribbon Addict. Some of my stamping accomplishments are being published a couple times, serving on the SCS Dirty Dozen and being on the MFT Design Team. More importantly though, I have made some life-long friendships through stamping. I consider myself lucky to have come across so many caring and wonderful people.

Back in October, I picked up some Christmas wooden blocks/photo holders and altered them into a “Boo Trio,” which you can see HERE. When I went back to pick up more of those AWESOME blocks, they were all sold out. Well, last week I got a PM from fellow Splitcoaster, Teresa {aka gingerbread}, telling me that she had a bunch and that she would be happy to send them to me. Insert me doing a happy dance here! Well, a couple days later a HUGE box lands on my doorstep with NINETEEN of them inside!! NINETEEN!! OMG!! Insert more happy dancing! What was a girl to do?…I’ll tell ya! I sat down and got to creating a Valentine’s Day photo holder. I did not do multiples this time, bc I wanted to do something that I could re-create over and over. So here is what I came up with…

A photo or love note can slide into the heart. The letters are cut out with my new Slice {the “old” one went to Slice heaven and Making Memories gave me one that is working}. I put Mod Podge on the letter and then covered them with Taylored Expressions’ Raspberry Soda glitter. I also did the same of the balls that I attached to the bottom of the block.

Here is a close up of the bow. The ribbon is from May Arts and I tied 2 bows and then added the buttons on top.

Long ago, Tony ratted me out as a Coke {Classic} addict. I have since given up “real” soda to shed some pounds. My indulgence turned to Diet Dr. Pepper, but I have something to admit. I have been a Starbucks fan for quite some time, but I am now giving my love to the lil’ guy in town…Jitter Beans {NoCal folks may know them}. The new {drive thru} coffee house has a delectable drink that has stolen my heart…{non-fat} Mexican Mocha, equipped with my choice of 2 or 3 shots of espresso. Mmmmm and BUZZZZZZZ! On the way home from Ellie’s Wiggles class I went through the drive thru {the only way to get your coffee here, actually, bc it is just a wee little building} and picked up my MM and went home. I was about half way done after lunch when I put Ellie down for a nap, so it was the perfect inspiration piece {and refreshment} for my stamping.
As you may already know, My Favorite Things released new sets last night. One was the alphabet {Bling Bet} that I showed you the other day. My card for today features another new {and oh so cute!} set, Tea For Two.

Needless to say, I think that the sentiment says it all!
