Houston, We Have Lift Off…
Oct 17th, 2007 by Jen
Last Friday Ellie had her 15 month appt. at the doc’s office. When asked when she started walking, I had to say “Not quite yet.” {Ugh!!} All of my friend’s kids were already running around, but Ellie insisted on holding our hand and was not going to have any part letting go. Then, on Saturday she apparently changed her mind. She didn’t just take one or two steps, she was off and all about the house enjoying her new found freedom. WooooHooooo…and OH NO!! It’s been a fun and busy few days around the del Muro house. I just wanted to share some pics of my lil’ cutie patootie.
I’ll be back tomorrow with some more projects!

Woo hoo! Let the fun begin!!
My 14-1/2 month old grandson just started walking too! Now he’s chasing the dogs and cat all over the house!
yeah!!!!!
Sooooooo cute! I love the 2 middle pics…girl you better hide things! Wait till she can open doors!!
my son was that old when he started walking–we held out a pacifier and he took his first steps to try to get it!
Yippee, glad she finally found her sea legs, LOL! OMG, love the sunglasses pic!!
How exciting!
People get so worried about when their kids walk– my pediatrician said even around 18 months is still in the normal range. My DD was about 16 months before she was really walking
Don’t sweat it. My youngest was 16 months before she decide to walk…they all even out by the time they are 2 years old. Some just take their own sweet time! ;0)
Oh she is adorable! How precious!
CONGRATS!!! It’s so nice when they finally start walking on their own! But they also grow up SO fast! We just purchased the same Elmo slippers for my 20 month old!!
congrats. i don’t like it when they start walking it means they are growing up.
Yay for Ellie!! She is such a cutie..give her a hug from me and Josh!!
She looks very mischievious but very cute!
Congrats to her! What a BIG accomplishment! Now watch out cause the fun begins!!! {SMILES}

Fun times ahead!!! Let the games begin!!
Yeah!! My son was the same way. He just wasn’t interested and then all of a sudden he took off. It amazes me to see how each child is so unique!
What a big girl! She is just so darling!
She is precious!!! My baby girl (2) walked at 15 months too. The drs were worried but I wasn’t—my ds walked at 10 months and that was a pain!!! lol!
What a cutie…she will probably be climbing up on the tables next week.
congratulations on Ellie’s big accomplishment. Looks like she is off to a raring start..Now the real chasing begins!! Have a great weekend. Chris
The Del Muro house looks remarkably like the van der Sanden house!! Woohoo Ellie! Give momma a RUN for the money!
