   I love ribbon! and I love seeing the projects you make and share with us on your blog. I’ve been cardin’ for about 3 years now. That’s amazing since I’ve tried lots of different hobbies and this is the longest I’ve lasted at any of them.

    I’ve been stamping for a little over 3 years. I started with the wish to make a hand-made card for a grandson’s birthday and in my search for papers and embellishments, I discovered a stamp store where they taught classes. I now teach classes myself and love stamping/card making!

    What a fantastic question. It is always nice to see how long people have been stamping. It just amazes me that I didn’t get started earlier. I have been stamping for 3.5 years and haven’t looked back. In fact I love stamping more now than ever.

    The hits are ‘rackin’ up! I have been stamping for 10 years. I was thinking it wasn’t that long, but I remembered that I received my first SU! Catalog at a stamp party (I bought it for the ideas) and it’s the 98/99 catty! Time sure flies when you’re having fun!

    Congratulations on the hits! *rah - rah - rah* I have been stamping for as long as I an remember. OK well actually I started making my own cards back in 1984. I was a teenager who needed a card for Mother’s Day and all those Hallmark cards were so sappy and not true (she was not my best friend *yet* and I did not think she was the best thing since sliced bread who I could always count on. Well anyway my friends loved my doodles on books at school so they told me to make my own card for her. Let me just say there was no such thing as a rubber stamp store back then! I had to draw or watercolor everthing thing by hand. As stamps started to arrive in my area they were country geese or teddy bears - yuck - so I kept on doing it all by hand and people were buying my stuff left and right. Now there are lots of stamps everywhere I turn and I have a gajillion of them in my little art studio; oh and no one buys them from me anymore because they all make their own cards!! *giggle* That’s ok too - it’s just great to see what everyone else makes … it’s candy for my eyes and soul, just like your blog.

    Um, I was invited to a SU party about five years ago, but before that had bought one huge solid Christmas image and gold embossing powder and made my own Christmas cards. Needless to say, once I saw all that SU had…I was HOOKED!

    Your blog is under my “favorites”, I’ve been doing papercrafts and cards since I can remember and discovered stampin up three years ago, suddenly I had so much stuff and no room around the house that I decided to get a “little workshop/storage place”, well it is in my back yard by my kitchen door, I have my own little world!      Oh my goodness..i love the tarts! As for how long I have been stamping..basically it’s been since I was about 8. My mom was/is a huge crafter and she would let me stamp just to stay out of her hair. But as a true realy addiction..about five years. Congrats on the 60K..what a superstar!

     What great tarts! I have only been stamping about 6 months, what a great addiction! My new daughter-in-law, was staying with us and she had tons of stamps, so I watched, thinking whats the big deal? and more I watched, the more I saw what the big deal was! I bought my first set, “Flaky Friends” to do Christmas Cards, and I’ve been buying and stamping since! I think I may have even more stamps now than she does!      Good Question! I started stamping when I was 16 in 1996, but I wasn’t impressed. The stamps were so difficult to use and to clean–I thought it was too much frustration. I started again about 5 years ago with SU porducts and now I’m hooked!
