A Bella Thank You…

You know what is so nice about making a “thank you” card? It’s knowing that someone has done something nice for you and you are gracious for their actions. I love making “thank you” cards because it makes me realize that I am surrounded by wonderful people in my life.
This one is in the mail right now, headed to a new friend. I knew I wanted to use one of my Bellas and when I sorted through them, this one popped out at me. As you can tell by the glimmer in the photo, I covered the balloons with Diamond Stickles and it is sup-ah spar-ka-lay! Her dress is photographing a little brighter than what it actually is…I am still on the downside of the learning curve for PSE. The printed paper is American Crafts…LOOOOOVE their stuff!! The punched photo corners were a last minute addition because the card was screaming for something a little more. I feel that they help balance out the card since the left side is “heavy” with the balloons and the sentiment panel. It’s hard to believe, but I didn’t even attempt to use ribbon…GASP!! Another finishing touch I added at the end was the faux stitiching around the main panel. I didn’t want to add another layer, but I wanted to incorporate more white, so I grabbed my paper piercer and Signo pen and was able to add the white that I was looking for.

Tonight is Stamp Camp and we are making some fab projects. I will have them posted here tomorrow, along with another Verve Visual project. Don’t forget to stop by on Saturday. I have a fun sketch for you to try and I’ve rounded up some of my friends to make {incredible} samples you won’t want to miss. Have a great day!!
