You had to have known that I would be stamping with one of the new Ellie stamps…ELLIE LOVES TENNIS. Isn’t she smashing?…

On my card, she has a Wimbeldon inspired outfit {all white}, but I had to bring in some color and I did that with mixing and matching colors {and patterns} from Echo Park’s Dots and Stripes collection of papers. I wanted to create a “scene” with a ball bouncing, so I added in the dashed lines to give the sense of motion. It reminds me of chasing down ball after ball at tennis lessons as a kid. Fortunately, my parents realized {eventually} that I would never be headed to Wimbeldon and I didn’t have to endure such torture week after week. Since then I have played once with Tony…and there’s a reason for that {LOL!}.
Anyways, back to the stamp talk…
