Baby Girl Card…
Well, I’ve survived the first week and a half of summer with 2 kiddos. Only another week and a half until all the camps and such start. I thoroughly enjoyed splashing in the pool today with the kiddos. Nicolas {now 17 months old} has decided that it’s fun to go {pretend fall} under water to get Mommy to pull him up and then laugh as I’m saying, “That’s not funny.” Needless to say, I stay within about 6 inches from him at all times. I’m glad he is taking to the water like a fish, but I think he’s shaving years off my life by the minute. Something tells me that other moms {of boys, especially] can relate!
One of my friends, who actually already has a lil’ man of her own, is now expecting a sweet little princess this summer. This is the card that I made to go along with her shower gift {still gotta get that!}…
As you can see, I am embracing the clean and simple style that I am loving lately. I used all Verve goodies here, including the Jotted Heart die that I can’t seem to take off my desk. In addition to the die, I used both To The Moon set paired with the Smallest Things Plain Jane. I love mixing and matching sets to get the look that I am going for.
Do you love the polka dot paper? I got some happy mail last week and in one of those packages was Echo Park’s Dots and Stripes collection. SWOOOOON!
Alrighty, I’m outta here! Off to plan some more fun with the kiddos!
Swimming and water and boys!! What can i say…i had 3 boys and put them all in swimming lessons before 2 and asked the instructor to give them a FEAR of water…

Lovely! Great job, I really like that you experiment and don’t go for the obvious, all pink girly style. Green and pink go together amazingly well, by the way.
