TCP Tuesday #141…
**2nd Post for Tuesday, January 11. Scroll down for SSD Hop post.**
It’s Tuesday and I have my TCP Tuesday card ready and posted ON TUESDAY! No, don’t look out your windows to see if pigs are flying…it’s because I am your Hipster Hostess with the Mostess this week and I have a fun challenge for TCP Tuesday #141.
USE RIBBON IN A FUN, UNIQUE and CREATIVE WAY
What does that mean? Well, I’m not going to tell you how exactly to do with ribbon, but I will say that this challenge is to get you to break free of just using ribbon for bows. In addition to it being TCP Tuesday, it’s also the first official day of sneak peeks for The Cat’s Pajamas‘ release next Tuesday. There’s lots of inspiration for this challenge and great peeks of this set from more of the TCP Design Team {<---all links on the sidebar}.
I decided to make a flower/rosette from my saddle stitch ribbon. To do this, simply pull on one of the strings of the saddle stitch and bunch up your ribbon and then shape into a circle. I used hot glue {I use it on EVERYTHING} to adhere the ribbon into the round shape. You can kinda see how it spilled out on the bottom...OOPS! Try not to look at that and take note of the cute new set, Ewe Complete Me…
Here’s a detail shot of the ribbon rosette, topped off with a heart from the to be released CutUps die, Heart Trio…
Inside of the card, using another heart die from the Heart Trio CutUps die, another sentiment and a couple of the open heart images…
Heart Trio CutUps {yep, that large scallop heart is pierced!}

Want to participate in this supply challenge? Here are some deets you will want to know…
1. Each a week one of The Cat’s Pajamas DT members will host a challenge.
2. The challenges will vary {stamp, technique/supply, color, theme, sketch, etc.}
3. You will have until the end of the month to complete the challenge.
4. Link to your post using the Inlinkz button on Alma’s/The TCP blog post HERE.
5. TCP stamps are not required, but of course, highly encouraged. {Unless it is a challenge calling for a specific stamp}
6. There will be one winner each month. They will be deemed that month’s Swankiest Stamper and get $25 in Cat’s Cash {money to spend on the TCP site!}.
7. Only designs posted to the this blog will be considered for the Swanky Stamper.
8. The newly crowned Swanky Stamper will be announced on the First of the Month and have his/her winning entry posted on The Cat’s Pajamas website where he/she will reign for the entire month.
Recognize the layout?
Yep, it’s this month’s {TCP sponsored} SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY! Play along for a chance to win a TCP set of your choice or even a grand prize worth over $200. You can find all the details and entry link system on my January SFYTT post.
