YNS Winner Announced and a New Sketch For You To Try…

Hello! It’s been another busy week at the del Muro house. Not quite as productive as would like, but that’s seems to be life. I really noticed yesterday that it takes me 10 times longer to do anything. Trying to get dinner ready was a feat! Ellie came out from going potty looking totally dressed and says, “I just didn’t feel like putting my underpants back on.” Really? I did eventually have her go get them and then had to help her put them back on. Bending over these days is just so not easy, either so it took a while! Tony actually had to tie my sneakers the other day because I couldn’t reach and my toes haven’t seen a fresh coat of paint in I don’t know how long! Yea for pedicure appts. with my bestest friend, Rosie, next Friday!!! I went to the OB this week and had a sonogram and baby boy del Muro is currently in a very comfy {for him} breech position. Fortunately, I still have 8 weeks and we are hoping he puts his head down on his own, otherwise the doc said he would flip him. That sounds like fun! Well, I have more Ellie stories to tell, but I think this post will just get a little overwhelming if I spill them all out now. I will have more trials with a sassy {but oh so lovable and sweet} 3 year old next week.

I relate to the panties story, unfortunately I didn’t know my darling (way older than 3) didn’t bother to put any on the day I had to take her to the doctor. The pediatician did her best to assure me this wasn’t the first time this had happened in her office but boy did I feel like a very bad, bad, bad parent. LOL

I love your creation this week, Jen. The honey bear is perfectly colored and your choice of dp and embellies are delish!

Love this week’s sketch, Jen! Both samples are fantastic. Love the new bear image you used - so cute! All the accents and bellies are just perfect! Love the warm colors of Amy’s, along with the placement of the animals! Have a great weekend!

Fun/funny stories, Jen! George has been opting to take his diaper off by himself which means every other piece of clothing comes off as well…love those kids!

Love the cards girls…Jen, the TCP bear and the snowflakes and swirls couldn’t BE sweeter. Amy–love the neutral colors and the twill/button!

OH Jen…my baby is breech, too! I was so thrilled that he had turned head down at my October visit, but on Thursday he was breech! Uggh….what is up with our babies? LOL! I totally understand about the bending over stuff and things taking forever to get done. Hang in there…we’re almost done and the Holidays will make it fly by! Oh yes…your card is cute, too! I love the coloring on kraft paper as I have mentioned before. It looks so good! I love Amy’s card as well! Super cute!

At least Ellie had some clothes on! One of the kindergartners (boy) came out of the classroom bathroom the other day stripped to the waist carrying his clothes! Shoes and socks included! The art teacher who was conducting the class was totally blown away!

Gorgeous cards Ladies! What a fun sketch Jen!
