Sketch For You To Try…

Anyone else loathing the summer heat? I can’t imagine that my pregnancy is making it any easier for me, but I am miserable. Then again, the heat index has been hovering over 100 degrees, so I don’t see how it could be very enjoyable. I don’t live in Arizona {anymore}, so I can’t hear, “Well, at least it’s a dry heat.” Nope, here in TX it’s a wet, soggy, humid heat…moist, if you will {I know a lot people squirm at that word, so that just seems appropriate}. Backing up to the “It’s a dry heat” comment. David Spade really said it best in a comedy routine when he replied to that comment with, “Well, so is my oven, but you don’t see me crawling in there.” Point made.

What I am thrilled about is that it is Saturday. I have another Copic class today and of course, a new SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY…

    Cute cards. I need to try that “dry heat” comment on my brother who still lives in AZ. He likes to compare AZ’s “dry” heat to Calif’s “humid” heat. Thanks for the giggle today.

    Thanks for another great sketch Jen! I’m your sister right now in Oklahoma - we were 98 degrees and a south wind about 25-30 mph yesterday - MISERABLE!
