Sketch For You To Try…

What a wild week it’s been! The weather was crazy here in North Texas. I think it rained for 16 hours straight hours between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. The power went out several times. So much that it blew the relay on our fridge…UGH! Turns out that a $10 surge protector would have saved us the $170 is cost to fix. Make note of that peeps! I started “play school” with Ellie this week, too. I have a workbook that we do a letter page, a number page and a motor skill page on 3 days a week. She is loving learning to write her letters. She has actually been showing interest for some time, so this seemed like a natural progression in teaching her. She even wrote her name for the first time yesterday. Granted, Ellie is pretty easy to write out, but I am one proud mama!

Let’s get down to biz-ness! Here’s this week’s sketch…

    Great card Jen! I love the colors of it and the distressing makes it look AWESOME! Love how you did the flower on this card as well.

    Beautiful cards, Jen! Love the way you used the three different papers on the back panels - never thought of that! Ashley’s card is gorgeous with all the distressing and texture. Fun sketch this week! Way to go, Ellie!!!
