First Saturday of the Month…
Does anyone else get really excited about the first Saturday of the month like I do? I love introducing the new Designer of the Month. All of the past designers have been absolutely incredible and this month’s designer is equally as talented! Please welcome Julie Lacey!!!
A little about Julie in her own words…
WOW, thank you so much to Jen for inviting me to be the guest designer for the month of May. I’ve been a “stalker” of Jen’s sketches for quite some time now, and am completely honored to be able to work with the rest of her awesome team!
A little about me…I work full time as a Controller for a large grocery distribution company in Northfield, Minnesota. I recently completed my Master’s in Business Administration and spend most of my time and energy working. When I’m not at work, I spend time with my husband Jeff, and our 4 dogs (Lexie, Winnie, Dublin and Henry), and tending to 3 acres of lawn! I’m active in several animal rescue efforts, including Miniature Pinscher Rescue and the local Humane Society.
My love for stamping was rekindled a few years ago through a friend at work. I found Splitcoaststampers shortly thereafter and have been busy stamping ever since. I’m lucky enough to design for There She Goes stamps, Little Paper Shop, and Stamps and Smiles.

Wow! Both cards are fabulous….and what a fun sketch to try- perhaps I’ll get some stampin’ in today! Byw, Jen, how did you do those flowers on your card? Slice Machine? They are amazingly beautiful!

Great sketch once again! Loved all the samples. I made mine without the second horizontal element — used three dew drops instead. Have a great week!
