SFYTT…

Posted by Jen | Gina K., Guest Designer, cards, challenges, designer of the month | Saturday, April 25, 2009

Happy Saturday! We’re off to another birthday party and then, as I noted yesterday, I am going to RELAX! This weekend is supposed to be rainy and gross. Tony believes that there is a conspiracy to make it sunny all week long and then rain on the weekend when he is home. It sure seems like it this would be the case, but I have a strong inkling that Mother Nature is not working directly against him. In fact, I think she is doing him a favor…you can’t do yard work when it is raining!

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Sketch For You To Try last week {and EVERY week!}. I promised a little somethin’ somethin’ to one participant. Who could it be? None other than…

#55 Jen Arkfeld

Jen, email me {link under my pic over there on the left} your info and I will get your goodies out to you next week.

Onto this week’s sketch…

Great sketch, and very timely for me. I needed a card for a man in my Small Church Community who has been going through some health problems. However, I had to add two stars to take care of too much white space. Hope you don’t mind!

Wow! Two great sketches in a row….LOVE them :) Please forgive my double post, but I couldn’t decide which card to submit. I’ve been wanting to use pompom trim for ages and just got some crocheted flowers from Etsy AND I’ve been in love with butterflies on ribbon bows :) I just wish my POMPOMS weren’t so BIG! Doesn’t that sound funny? I can’t find the beautiful smaller ones in B.C. :( Have a fabulous weekend :)
