Sketch For You To Try…

**Don’t forget to turn off your lights for EARTH HOUR from 8:30-9:30 pm local time**

Hooray for Saturday! I’m headed off into the blustery winter weather that has made an unwelcome return to North Texas this week. No worries though, I will only be in that weather long enough to get into my car, out of my car and then into the stamp store that I am teaching at today. It seems that every time I teach these classes on Saturday mornings it is FREEEEEZING! I am kinda a wimp when it comes to winter weather. There is no way I could survive for any extended period of time where some of you actually have “real” winters.

Alright, let’s get down to biz-ness! First, the winner of the Whiff of Joy stamp…

Congrats to #27 ~amy~ of Tsuruta Designs who made THIS card. {number chosen by random.org}
Amy, email me with all the needed info and I will get this stamp out to you next week.

Here is this week’s sketch…

This week, I have another little something up for grabs for participants. Remember those flowers that I showed you yesterday? Click HERE to see them, again. I am going to send those to one participant of this week’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY. Just link your card to Mr. Linky below by Friday at midnight {EST} to be entered :)

    Jen, I’ve had a blast playing along with your sketches every week this month. Thank you so much for inviting me to play along. I am honored to have been asked.

    Winter is returing here as well. 1 - 3 inches of snow i predicted to fall on us tomorrow, and I’m so ready for winter to be over.

    Have a fabulous class.

    Jenn Diercks

    Oh my word Jen, could that bugger BE any cuter? Love the colors and look at that key-ute card she made while you were making your SFYTT card?!

    Hope you had a great class this morning, Jen! And that you’re toasty & warm in your comfy cozy home now. It’s STILL snowing here! And tomorrow it’s supposed to be 56 degrees… whatever!!! Loved this sketch, and your crafty bug is all sorts of cuteness. I LOVE that patterned paper you used!

    Both cards are awesome. The Bella bugg is so cute. I like the flower on the card. I guess that’s one you made with the slice. I’ve seen the machine in the stores but haven’t really checked them out yet.
    Have a blessed week…

    Whoa! This card is way out of my comfort zone! I tried to be clever with the DP like you are so good at :) It took on a life of its own! I wanted to add a butterfly, but like any good fashionista knows, take off one accessory before you go out (or in this case, an embellishment before you post!)
