First, I want to thank Katharina Frei for asking me to do some cards for Whiff of Joy, and also for donating the Melinda Blowing Kisses stamp from the Guardian Angel Collection. THANK YOU! More info on how to win down below :)

Gorgeous coloring, Jen, and I love the image Jenn used in her sample! Wasn’t sure of this sketch at first, but I ended up really, really liking it! Great job as usual!

Loved being able to make another card. Of course it took me so long. Both of the cards are gorgeous. Does it take you guys long to make them…or does it just get easier? I’m really hoping it just gets easier. Anyway, great sketch! Thanks

Jen, you should get a commission from Martha Stewart!! I was going through my stamp sets trying to find one to use for the sketch. This retired butterfly image had Spring written all over it…ah, but I couldn’t just use any butterfly punch…I needed the “monarch” punch. When I saw it a few days ago at Michaels, I hummed and hawed…now it sits beside my other one :)

Love your card! I had to rotate the sketch to fit my image. Actually, I printed it out and laid it down and was looking at it the wrong way, but my card is what came to mind, so I went with it, even when I figured out I turned the paper the wrong way, LOL!

  33. Comment by NWFlamingo — March 26, 2009 @ 11:51 am

I thought the real challenge was doing this sketch and including the star. Boy, did I over think this one!
