Sketch For You To Try…

Posted by Jen | Bella, cards, challenges, designer of the month | Saturday, March 14, 2009

Happy Saturday! I’m having fun a great time here in San Diego with Ellie and my in-laws. So far we have been hanging out, to the zoo, birthday present shopping and to the park. Lots of fun! I also made it over to Stamp Addict and managed to pick up a few stamps to bring home. Between here and NYC last weekend, I have lot of new rubbah to play with…YAY!

Of course I have another SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY
sfytt_031409

I made this the day before I left and now realize that I completely left out a panel…OOPS! Let’s just pretend that there is a kraft or white panel behind the oval. I’m pretty sure that I would use kraft, but I know that I would check to see what white looked like. Both the image and sentiment for my card are from Stamping Bella.

NICE new sketch, Jen - and your card is CuTE with that birdie scene… really like how you framed your sentiment, with the scroll and the brads; nice touch!

    Thanks for the great sketch!

I ended up missing the extra panel as well, but due to a design choice (not wanting to cover up the paper underneath!). I’ll give the sketch a try again tomorrow :)

Here is mine. I realized after I did it, that I didn’t notice the color tones on the sketch, oh well, taking care of my little dd with an ear infection, so a bit sleep deprived. I like this sketch. Thanks for the challenge.
