New Guest Desinger And A Fun Sketch For You To Try {With A Chance To Win Some Goodies}…

It’s Saturday!! WaaaHooooooooo!! That means a few things to me today. First, Susan and I are going to the Great American Scrapbook Convention and will hopefully scope out and return with some cool products. Also, I have a SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY and last, but not least by any stretch of the imagination, there is a new Guest Designer to introduce. So, let’s get on the with the show!!
Drumroll, please…
For the super sweet and talented DAWN EASTON, June’s Guest Designer. Dawn will be creating Sketch For You To Try samples that will be seen exclusively on iheart2stamp.com for the month of June. YAY!!
From Dawn, a little about herself…
Wow! Was I shocked and delighted to be asked by Jen to be Guest Designer on her blog this month. I’ve been busting at the seams to let this secret out for over a month!! Anyone who knows me, knows I’m not good at keeping secrets. Not that I LIKE to tell them, I just seem to let them slip out 
I’ve only been stamping seriously for about a year and a half now. I signed up as a SU! demo in August of 2006 but only to get the discount. I hadn’t learned a whole lot up to that point but once I found SCS and the blog world, I couldn’t get enough.
I’m lucky to be married to a wonderful man, Brian, who supports my addiction 100%(yes financially too)! We have a fantastic daughter who is nearly 9, named Chloe. I’m a SAHM who does some volunteer work at the school.
Quite often I am asked how I get so much done in a day. Well when you only have one child and you are a SAHM, you seem to have a lot of extra time. I always get my daily chores out of the way first THEN I begin my stamping day! I am currently on the All That Scraps Design Team and previously was a Guest Designer for Paper Pretties.

Susan’s computer, although from what I have been told it is undergoing some surgery and may make a miraculous recovery. Cross your fingers!

First, a huge warm welcome to Dawn!! Congrats girl! I love these samples! Jen, I almost used a Stampavie image, too, but ended up going in a different direction. Yours is such a cutie, and colored to typical Jen perfection! Dawn, I love your color combo, and I especially love how the diagonal stripe on the paper mimics the raindrops - genius!

Mine’s going to be a bit late today, but I just wanted to tell you I LOVE LOVE LOVE your adorable RAM card! Oh, those stamps are just too, too sweet for words! Getting a toothache! And speaking of sweet, you know I {heart} Dawn, too, and I’m so happy she’s on board for June! Yay!

Thanks for sharing with us. I just love getting ideas from others, especially as talented as you and your guests. I was able to play along this week and had a blast doing it. Here is my take on the sketch, I had to put the main image on the side because I thought I would have room to do a knot in my ribbon but not with out putting the make image on the side.
