Appletini Anyone?…
Apr 14th, 2008 by Jen
Hope you all had a great weekend! I came down with what we commonly refer to as “the crud” around here on Saturday night…ugh! Fortunately before that, I got in a little stamping time and we went to Chuckee Cheese with some friends {in lieu of the duck pond bc it was a little chilly}.
First, I have to say that I am **so mad** {ha!} at Emily for continually adding new stuff to the Stamping Bella site. There is always new stuff to ogle at, wish for and eventually purchase. This image is named Springtini…cute, huh!?! I already had the fun sentiment from Inky Antics and I just think that they pair well together…don’t, you!?! In addition to those 2 companies, I also used the Paisley background from SU! and the Geometric Flowers II backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms.

I used a real fun color “concoction” for this card…Cameo Coral, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi. The main image is stamped on watercolor paper and colored in with Copic markers. For my finishing touches, I paired a small punched flower with some Bella Baubles, and I topped off the photo corners with silver brads. I also used my small scallop scissors on the white cardstock to the left of the Pumpkin Pie cardstock to emulate the scallops on the main image panel. I have a feeling this stamp is going to be well loved!! I think that it would make darling bridal shower or girl’s night invites.
As I mentioned above, we went to Chuckee Cheese on Saturday. Ellie and her friend, Addison, had a BLAST! They were so darn cute together. They held hands almost the entire time…sometimes both hands at once. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much. Here are a few of the shots that we got of their extreme cuteness!!…
I went wild for this stamp when I saw it! But I had just placed an order. You made it into the most awesome card too.
Wow, what an adorable card! I really love the sentiment! Your kids are adorable too!!! I love the pigtails!!!
Hi, What a fantastic card…..and the pictures are great. Everyone looks like they are having fun. Jennie
Hey…. we went to the Trinity Duck Pond - very dirty. If that is where you were going, you missed nothing. lol Great card. Great pics of the girls. Looks fun. Hope you’re feelign better.
Absolutely swanky card! Love this image - now I’m mad that I missed this when I ordered on Saturday. What’s better than a ladybug sitting on a martini glass?
Nice card! Your daughter is adorable- I just love the pictures of her- even if I don’t always post a comment is it boring to read “your daughter is adorable” over and over?
that last picture is the CUTEST!! I just placed a bella order on Sunday and completely missed this stamp!!
What a darling appletini card! I love the colors!! Super sweet photos!!!
Yep, I’m totally down on Emily, too, with the unceasing *trickle* of new stuff — she doesn’t even have the courtesy to allow me time to get my other stuff inked before she’s off and making me buy more…
LOVE this, though! May just have to find a way into my cart… Looks like Ellie and pal had a blast. Those pig tails are giving me cavities — so sweet!!
What precious babies…I love the card too
LOVE that image! And your card is divine. This is one of my new favorites of yours!
That last pic is just too sweet!

Jen, I LOVE this card! Yummy colors and great backgrounds! That image is so great — gotta have it! You are not good for my self-control!!!
Sweet pics of Ellie and her friend!
Ok now I’m kicking myself for not getting that Springtini. I had it in my shopping cart and my friend said “oh i dont like that, there’s a bug on the glass, yuck!”….talk about giving in to peer pressure. LOL xoxo
