ABC Friday ~ Mini Pizza Box…
Ever have a flash of inspiration when you see something completely un-craft related? I haven’t even had pizza delivered lately, but I was flipping through the ads that came on the mail the other day and saw a pizza box in a pizza ad and **LIGHTBULB ON.** I thought, “I should make a little one of those.” So I did.
I **almost** went out and got one of those little candy pizzas to put inside, but thought that would be a little over the top. However, I did have to make it totally girly and cute. This is what I came up with…
For the base of the box I used PaperTrey white cardstock. The DP is from K&Co, purchased at Target, long with the stickers. To create the tag, I punched out a tag from the white cardstock and then cut it in half with decorative scissors. I made both top and bottom portions have positive, rather than negative, scalloped edges. I then punched out another tag from DP and glued it behind the 2 pieces that were cut with the decorative scissors. Then I added the other layers, stickers, stamp and ribbon.
I have not created a visual template or tutorial for this, but the measurements/ directions are as follows:
Begin with 6×11 piece of cardstock.
Using your Scor-Pal, place the long side of your cardstock along the top edge. Score at 1″, 5″, 6″ and 10″.
Flip your paper and score at 1″ and 5″.
Make cuts at the 1″, 5″, 6″ and 10″ to the inner 1″ score mark.
Fold box and adhere tabs.
–> Please note, that these are my instructions to go with my idea. Please feel free to go forth and make several of these for fun, but not for personal gain. Thank you.
I just have to give a *little* shout to Carole for sending me this ADORABLE altered tin. Thank you Carole, I love it. She filled it to the very very tippy top with Dew Drops/Bella Baubles. Just a little note to Cammie…see what happens when you are nice to her!??! LOL **wink**

Jen, too funny! We both had pizza box brainstorms! Except, I bought empties from my local pizza place and am using them to store backstock of seasonal papers at the store! They work perfectly! However, mine are plain, and say “Sam’s Pizza” on them, where yours is adorable! Very cute idea!

So, I am going to a bridal shower this weekend for a long time friend and couldn’t come up with an idea that felt personal enough. I hate bridal registries but was resigned to get something the bride actually wanted. When I found she wanted a Pizza Pan, I decided that it would be perfect with a recipe of my mom’s barbeque pizza, enjoyed many a time by me and this particular friend. As I was buying the pan online, I decided I needed a cute way to package the recipe and picture of the pan…and Voila!! Your mini pizza box is perfect. THANK YOU!
i enjoy attending bridal showers coz there are lots of pretty ladies and it is enjoyable too;*”
