This Christmas, I would love to have all the pieces of this puzzle called life fall into place for me. I have been struggling for a long time and I finally see an end in sight, and the puzzle coming together. A little cryptic I know…………LOL Thanks for such a great chance to get some of the verve sets, and since I already own winter wishes, I would certainly love to get my hands on that starlight starbright set!!!

Wow Jen–over 220K in hits! Congratulations! I love your blog–such creative stuff you make. My wish this Christmas is that I have a healthy baby boy (c-section scheduled for 12/21), that I have a speedy recovery, and that my 7 year old DD still has wonderful Christmas. Every thing else would be icing on the cake.

Congrats on the hits. My wish for Christmas this year is a bind it all. I have been wanting this for the longest time. Not sure what I would do with it, but I just “gottahaveit”.
Thanks for the chance to get these stamps. I love the Verve stamp sets I have. They are great!!

  4. Comment by Sheila — November 28, 2007 @ 8:26 am

Congrats Jen! That’s awesome but not surprising considering all your FAB ideas! My wish for Christmas is money to decorate the master bedroom. After 15 years of marriage, that’s the room I’ve never done - sad! Thanks for the opportunity - great stamps!

  5. Comment by Jackie — November 28, 2007 @ 8:29 am

Congratulations on the hits and thanks for the chance at these great stamp sets! I just received my first 2 sets from Verve and I love them! On my list this year is just the hope that my children will be able to come for the holiday. They are in FL and TN and I miss them lots!

  6. Comment by Jacque (SCS: Petals) — November 28, 2007 @ 8:35 am

Great card samples! These sets look like fun, especially the Winter Wonder set!

This season, I am wishing for simplicity. Year-round I tend to be over-committed and running from one thing to the next, not even sleeping much because I’m too busy thinking about things that need to get done the next day (and beyond!). My personal committment this advent is to slow down and embrace simplicity of thought and action. If you feel compelled to say a prayer or two for my success in this, feel free. This is bound to be quite the challenge!

What about you, what are you wishing for?

  7. Comment by Sharon Harnist — November 28, 2007 @ 8:35 am

Beautiful set and wonderful cards, Jen! Okay, I’ll go with World Peace . . . and an end to the war, how’s that?!! Happy Holidays to you!

  8. Comment by Lynn Brown — November 28, 2007 @ 8:36 am

Congrats on all the hits! I love your site. Thanks for the chance to win the Verve stamps.

For Christmas, I would like my husband to help me transform our basement guest room into a stamp/scrap room.

Wow, don’t know if I will ever live long enought to reach that number that is fanstatic. I have a pretty simple wish list, ScorPal. Here is a link to my card for your sketch.

  10. Comment by Janet — November 28, 2007 @ 8:44 am

Wow, cool sets. Congrats on your hits, Jen. I love checking out your blog. Hm, my wish…a brand new, shiny, red DYSON vacuum. I would love one. The stinky hoover I have now barely picks up Cheerios!

  11. Comment by Patti Chesky — November 28, 2007 @ 8:45 am

I already know what I am getting for Christmas this year. DH had me pick out a ring. The hard part will be waiting til Christmas to receive it.

Congratulations on the success of your blog. I love reading it every day!!!

  12. Comment by Cheryl K — November 28, 2007 @ 8:45 am

Awesome. Those sets are so beautiful and your ideas so inspirational! I haven’t thought about wishes for me yet (of course, anything stamping is always wonderful), been busy thinking of ideas for the kids and relatives. Thank you!

  13. Comment by Patty — November 28, 2007 @ 8:48 am

Wow, congrats on your hits! And thanks for the candy chance, hope I win… :)

My wish… well material wise, more cashola to support my stamping/crafting habit. I am also asking Santa for a pair of ice skate. Non-material wish, be inspired to workout more and better my health. Selfish, I know, but hey… ;)

  14. Comment by Pat — November 28, 2007 @ 8:48 am

Wow…I love both of these stamping sets! I am wishing for an awesome piece of jewelry…a diamond ring would work for me, but really just spending the holidays with my family is what would make me content. Congrats and thanks for sharing!

    Pat

  19. Comment by Emily S. — November 28, 2007 @ 8:58 am

  22. Comment by Tara S. — November 28, 2007 @ 9:01 am

Wow, so many hits, I can’t even fathom it! And the stamps - I love some snowflakes, so I could definitely put Winter Wonder to use (hey I love all stamps, who am I kidding?).

As for Christmas, I am wishing that DH finds a job, that my little cousin returns home safely from Iraq in time for her wedding next summer, and that 2008 will be the year I get published. Just once, thats all I’m askin’ for :-)

  23. Comment by Mimi Hornberger — November 28, 2007 @ 9:02 am

I am hoping for the new cricut machine and the nestabilities to be under the tree for me on Christmas Morning. I sure would love to add some Verve! These are beautiful sets and I love all of the samples I have seen. XO, Mimi

I’ve discovered that since I’ve had kids, it is TRULY so much more fun to watch them have their Christmas wishes come true! So… my wish is that they will remember the true meaning of Christmas and be able to create some great memories.

  26. Comment by Janine — November 28, 2007 @ 9:10 am

Congrats on the hits! My wish is for the war to end and for the nasty political commercials/ not to start until July.

Ummm I have to name just one thing? Well, I would really like some cabinets and a counter top for my craft room!! One of the dd’s got married this summer and I have taken over the room, but would love a little more organized, professional look and space. Oh yeah, and world peace too!! lol

  33. Comment by Amy — November 28, 2007 @ 9:38 am

  35. Comment by Lindsey S. — November 28, 2007 @ 9:47 am

Conratulations on your hits! I love reading your blog. My wish for Christmas is a dog. I have wanted one for so long, now I just have to convince my husband how great of an idea it is!!

  36. Comment by Lorien Clark — November 28, 2007 @ 9:59 am

My wish for Christmas is for my 3 kids to have a happy day and get everything they want. I will try my best to supply it, but I can’t guarantee it. Some of the things they want are way out there!

  37. Comment by Kay — November 28, 2007 @ 10:03 am

Congrats! I’m on your feedblitz list and love to see what new things you are doing. Thanks for the inspiration! I’m wishing for a healthy new grandson, due in late January. I’m also wishing for more time to stamp. Are these two things compatible? Hmmmm…

  38. Comment by LISA PARSONS — November 28, 2007 @ 10:26 am

    Hi Jen!

Those are really pretty cards, chic and simple.

What I want for Christmas……I hope to get a Digital Frame….a big one with a nice frame around it. And I want a nice laptop carrier. I hope Santa brings me both! :)

I also hope that the upcoming year will be a better one for us. We just had two (too many) tragic events in our family these past few months. One being the loss of my niece’s husband and the other was my brother-in-laws brother who was burned over 70% of his body in an explosion.

Thanks and have a great day! I love reading your blog it is so crisp and clean!

  39. Comment by Colleen — November 28, 2007 @ 10:29 am

Congrats on 220,000 hits! That is awesome.
My wish for Christmas is to go south for the winter. And if I can’t go south, I want to hybernate LOL
    Hugs,
    Colleen

  40. Comment by Julie C. — November 28, 2007 @ 10:35 am

I hope Santa brings me Microsoft Office for my laptop. I’ve been really good this year, Santa! Thanks in advance!!

  41. Comment by Barb — November 28, 2007 @ 10:37 am

Hmmm….is Santa going to be reading this?? ;-) I’d really like some new cabinets for my craft room, but that’s a little large. I’ve had my eye on an All Clad frying pan (I know, I know…boring) that I’d really like. A certificate for a massage or facial would be nice, too!

  42. Comment by Alexis R — November 28, 2007 @ 10:38 am

What’s on my list….a day to myself and everything craft related….definitely Verve stamps!!!
    Thanks for the goodies!

  43. Comment by Shelli W — November 28, 2007 @ 10:43 am

Cute sets and congrats on the hits!! Well, my BIGGEST wish this holiday season??? SLEEP!!! Just some good ol’ rest and time with the fam. . .no work, no laundry, no housecleaning (hence going to my brother’s house for Christmas!), no nothing. . .and the cherry on top of that grand ol’ wish?? Someone else to change my kidlets diapers for a day or two. :)

    Merry Christmas!

  44. Comment by TanyaS. — November 28, 2007 @ 10:46 am

Congrats on your hits, how exciting!!!!

I am wishing for lots more crafts/stamping supplies. My husband says I could open a store, but I think we can never have enough stuff, lol!!!!

Thanks for a chance to win!!

    Tanya

  45. Comment by MANDEE — November 28, 2007 @ 11:00 am

Thanks for the chance to win! My Christmas wish for this year is kind of selfish…but I WISH FOR MORE TIME TO STAMP!!! This year has been extremely busy for me with school, and kids, and husband! I yearn for some time to get creative!!!

  46. Comment by Krisstee — November 28, 2007 @ 11:00 am

Congrats….a wonderful blog. I check each new post and have bookmarked many of them.
I already have had my Christmas wish granted. My 3 year old Granddaughter is coming for the holidays. Gramma can hardly wait!

  47. Comment by Toni Whitnell — November 28, 2007 @ 11:02 am

Great and generous blog candy! I love Verve images!
What I wish for Christmas, is to be able to visit my Dad. We live 2000 miles away from family and are going home for the first Christmas in four years. My Dad is very ill, and I want to see him one last time.

  48. Comment by Suzy Tyler — November 28, 2007 @ 11:09 am

Wow Jen! Then again, you’re such a great source of inspiration that I’m sure that 500k is just around the corner!

What I’m wishing for this Christmas is a job! I have a job now, but I’m looking for one in the IT field that goes along with my degree of Web Development. I’ve got a call into a recruiter, so keep your fingers crossed for me.

Tangible items? That Sew Mini that you rave about would be good to find under the tree on Christmas morning.

Oh..wait…one most important thing…about 4 more hours in a day where I can spend being creative. :) I’ve really been lax in that department lately.

  49. Comment by Lauren Pittman — November 28, 2007 @ 11:14 am

congrats!! =) Hmm, what I am wishing for is a new digital camera! I need a new one to take good pics of my cards! lol! I really enjoy reading your blog, keep up the great work!! =)

  50. Comment by Allison — November 28, 2007 @ 11:20 am

Is it bad to say sleep? Seriously, this has to be the year I quit my job and just work on the SAHM job…it’s challenging in its own right! Congrats on the hits…TFS!

  51. Comment by Megan Olsen — November 28, 2007 @ 11:21 am

I can totally believe that you’ve hit 220K hits - your blog rocks! :)

The big ticket item on my X-mas wishlist this year is a new iPod Nano - they are so stinkin’ cute!

  52. Comment by Shelby — November 28, 2007 @ 11:26 am

Woo hoo! Count me in, please!

My Christmas wish this year is that it just goes relatively smoothly, with no hurt feelings. My mom isn’t too happy that DBF and I are spending Christmas Day with his family, so I’m hoping she understands why, and that we can have a fun time as a family on Christmas Eve.

  53. Comment by Judy H. — November 28, 2007 @ 11:31 am

I just wish for my DH to get a job. He got laid off via a company reduction in staff back in June and has had no luck finding anything. Thanks for the blog candy! Judy H.

  54. Comment by Melissa D. — November 28, 2007 @ 11:36 am

Congrats on the hits and thanks for this opportunity. I am beginning to get into stamping and this would just be awesome to have. I have been wanting to get some clear stamps to get started with.

  56. Comment by Kirsten — November 28, 2007 @ 11:46 am

Wow, I’m going to have to second Judy’s wish for a job for my husband. He also was recently laid off, and is looking, so that would be a big answer to prayer. (And if possible, some more Copic markers from Santa:))

  57. Comment by Kerry J. — November 28, 2007 @ 11:48 am

Great giveaways! Congrats on all the hits - I am many of those!! Love your blog and thanks for all the inspiration (and enabling!). My wish for Christmas is just to have a relaxing, fun time with my family and my mom who is flying in for the holidays.

  58. Comment by Suzanne — November 28, 2007 @ 11:48 am

Wow! 220K! Congrats! I’m hoping Santa can FIND a Brown Zune and put it under MY tree! I must be the only person in the world who wants it because of the color! LOL

  59. Comment by Kristine — November 28, 2007 @ 11:50 am

Congratulations on 220K hits…WOW! I just love your blog. My Christmas wish??? I won’t find out till after the new years but both my children auditioned for the all state band in CA and I want so badly for them to get in because they have worked so hard!

  60. Comment by Kathy — November 28, 2007 @ 11:56 am

    Jen,
I love your blog and this is great blog candy!!!!! I don’t have a lot of big wishes because in general, life is good. One thing I do wish for is a wife :-) I need someone to run my errands and keep all my stuff organized so I can work and be with the kids and take care of things around the house without feeling like I run around like a chicken with its head cut off.

  61. Comment by Lisa B — November 28, 2007 @ 11:56 am

    Wow, 220K!!! That’s fantastic–congrats!

As far as a Christmas wish, the ‘me me me’ part really would like Copics. But really, I just want a peaceful, relaxing holiday and a healthy delivery of my baby sister’s first baby (due around the first of the year).

  62. Comment by Hilma — November 28, 2007 @ 12:09 pm

    Congrats on your milestone!!!

I just started making cards but have digital (and paper) scrapped for many years… what I would love for christmas is a wacom tablet to be able to draw smooth doodles… or maybe an electric chainsaw to cut branches for my only source of heat… a wood stove. A tree fell last year in a major storm, the landlords gave the tree to someone else, AFTER MONTHS of it sitting there, as soon as I told them that I had someone to FINALLY cut it up… and they left all these pretty much useless branches but if I had that chain saw they wouldn’t be useless anymore!!!!

  63. Comment by Elizabeth Smith — November 28, 2007 @ 12:09 pm

First off Congrats!!! As for a Christmas wish, I think I would like more crafting supplies since I am trying to redo my craft room to get a little more organized. Hopefully:) I wish everyone a very happy Holiday Season.

  64. Comment by Michelle — November 28, 2007 @ 12:15 pm

Wow - Congratulations! I don’t know how you all keep a blog and have time to design cards and keep a business going!! and many of you have little ones at home! My wish for this year is my BH gets my craft room finished by the summer! It’s going to be so nice! and I always wish for good health for our family.

  67. Comment by Laura P — November 28, 2007 @ 12:27 pm

  75. Comment by Jen Harper — November 28, 2007 @ 12:45 pm

Congrats on the 220K hits on your blog! This Christmas I am not really wanting anything other than family time together enjoying one another’s company. We are spoiling the kids of course, and I enjoy Christmas through watching them. We have a third on the way so I am very introspective and not really needing anything.
    Jen

  78. Comment by Andrea Morgan — November 28, 2007 @ 12:52 pm

Dear Santa…honest, i’ve been good this year!! I may have not always gotten the laundry or dishes done when i needed, cause i spent the most FABulous time reading great blogs and stamping the day away. I would really like the basement to be finished, so that the kids could move their rooms downstairs and leave me with a stamp room — i’m not being selfish, just sharing the joy of all of us having a space to call their own ! ;)

Congrats on all hits, and thanks for the chance to win

  79. Comment by Shelly — November 28, 2007 @ 12:52 pm

Miss America wish? LOL! That cracked me up, okay if you insist…here’s my Miss America wish….to win the lottery! Really I would just like to be able to bring my hubby back to see his family. I don’t think we’ll do it until summer, but it’d be nice to go home for Christmas!

I’d love to try these stamps, I already have some cool ideas for them! Great candy!

This year, I am hoping for the biggest set of Prismacolor pencils that dh can find! Oh, and my probably-not-going-to-happen wish is that my ds grows out of his food allergies!

I love your blog! Congrats on all the hits! You inspire me whenever I need it, especially with your sketches. One of these days I will upload them to show. Verve stamps are on my list to purchase, but I would rather win them! (wink, wink) ;) My wish would be that our business makes it thru the holiday season and we stay afloat financially another year, and that we get to be together with family for the first time in a awhile.

My Christmas wish—happiness for my two teenage boys. They’ve had a rough couple of years, and have just recently started to act alot more relaxed and happy–and they have friends! A major improvement……so I wish for continued growth and happiness for S and T.

Love your blog, thanks for sharing

  90. Comment by Britiney — November 28, 2007 @ 2:31 pm

Hmmm. . . I’d have to say that these stamps are somewhere near the top of my list, for today at least! ;) Congrats on the milestone. Thanks for your amazing inspiration.

I’m pregnant with our first baby & my stamp room will be converted into the baby’s room (ok, except for a little corner for me to play until baby starts getting mobile). So I am asking for organization stuff for my craft supplies (ikea cabinet, some baskets, etc.) I am really loving these unmounted sets since they take up so much less room! TFS!

  92. Comment by Kris A — November 28, 2007 @ 2:34 pm

I’m not surprised you hit 220K! Your samples are wonderful. My wish is that my nephew to come home from Iraq soon, no politcal ads on TV and for more people to just slow down and smile at one another. Under the tree I’m wishing for stamping stuff!!!

  93. Comment by Heather C — November 28, 2007 @ 3:03 pm

Cool candy! Congrats on the hits — not surprised as you are on my “daily check list” thanks for the great ideas!

My wish — broadly I am wishing for the economy to take a turn for the better — especially housing — I have 2 friends who depend on this to raise their families and right now things are tough. Materialisticlly I wished for an ipod and a Cricut or Cuttlebug. Any or all would be great!

I already bought my Christmas gift (a laptop) so besides World Peace and gas to go back below $2 a gallon…I’d love Adobe Print Shop or the new software for my Cricut.

I submitted earlier but I forgot to tell you what I wished for…..I wish that my family will be together for Christmas…two of my four have flown the coop already so having a xmas where we are all together is getting more and more difficult….. :( That’s about it…not Ms. America wishes but close I suppose… :) Thanks again for the chance.

My Christmas wish is to get a Cricut for Christmas! I’ve been wanting one since the first time I used a friend’s at a crop and I was IN LOVE! Maybe Santa will be good to me this year! Thanks for the chance to win! I love both of those sets!

  109. Comment by Theresa Grdina — November 28, 2007 @ 5:53 pm

Well…at the risk of sounding hokey, I would just like my three daughters (two are away at college) and my DH and I to have a wonderful, relaxed and loving Christmas holiday….no rushing, no fussing…I just want to enjoy the season with the people I love best!
Now, if I can’t have that (LOL), I would like to attend CKU in Chicago in March! I am a big fan of Tim Holtz and Becky Higgins and I hear they are both going to be there….sigh….

  110. Comment by Crystal (SCS happy2stamp4ever) — November 28, 2007 @ 5:54 pm

Congrats!!! Those are BEAUTIFUL sets to be giving away! Thank you for your generosity!

Does the wish have to be realistic?? Hee hee…maybe I’ll do one of each, LOL

Unrealistic: A stamping room to call my own!! (I can dream!!)

Possibly Realistic: A calm, peaceful Christmas…one which I can reflect on the true meaning, teach my children about it, and enjoy the “fun” stuff with them, such as Christmas trees & lights…maybe dare to make cut-outs with my 3.5 yr. old!!…I wish…for a peaceful Christmas full of happy memories!

Wow… this is hard. I really don’t want anything for myself. I would just like to see my DS and DIL sell their house so they can move closer and that all the hatred and fighting that is going on in the world would stop. My wish this Christmas season is simple, but huge — I would LOVE for my 7-month-old to sleep through the night. (Even once would be good!) And if that’s not gonna happen (sigh [or yawn?]), I would really like to register for one of Donna Downey’s classes at the ScrapBowl ‘08 in Virginia.

My Christmas wish is to have all of my family together and have a fabulous time! As kids get older and go their own ways and have girlfriends and boyfriends and jobs, its harder and harder to plan a day for everyone to get together! This year we may just pull it off!!!!

I recently discovered Verve Visual stamps, and I really like them!! Just got my first order! So, thank you for the wonderful stamps & keep them coming! So now, what do I want for Christmas, besides tons and tons of stamping stuff?!? I want my hubby to travel less and work a little less and be home more! I want to spend as much “quality” time as possible with my 2 boys (I say quality, because me cooking dinner while they are glued to the computer doesn’t count). And I want my daughter to have an amazing Sr. year in High School filled with a balance of too much fun, while learning life lessons (the easy way would be great!). I want my Grandma’s growing relationship with my kids to keep growing!! And I want to find an amazing Women’s Bible Study group! I think that about covers it for now…TMI? Sorry. Hope you have a great holiday and all your wishes and dreams come true!!

    Happy stamping!!

    Hi Jen!
    Congratulations on 220K…good grief, that’s a lot!!!

Thank you for offering a chance to win the new Verve…they are so cool :)

What I would like for Christmas is for all of my family to be together. There are only 4 of us left, but my brother & sister live out of state. It is a rare occasion that we are all together.

Congratulations on so many hits! I’ve asked for a new winter coat and some new jammies from Land’s End. But a wish that I won’t have granted is a cure to all diseases…Cancer, MS, Cystic Fibrosis, etc., Currently my niece is in the hospital receiving chemo for Leukemia. She was just diagnosed last week. I want her to be home for Christmas with her family.

My wish for Christmas is some time to slow down, enjoy life, and be creative. I moved into my new house three weeks ago and got married this last weekend so the last few weeks have left little time to create anything. I’m working on some special projects for some fund raisers at the school I work at.

Your creations are so awesome! I am delighted that the Verve stamps are red rubber. I have such a hard time stamping with the clear stamps. I would love to have a Cricut or a Wishblade but I think I will settle for a few lovely Copic markers so I can see what all the fuss is about with them.

    Hugs, Karen Haynes

What I would really love for Christmas would to have my own house (we rent) but that is a really big wish that I doubt will come true for a while. Realistic wish…. that my kids would stop doing the sibling fighting for a week!!! lol Okay so that isn’t a realistic wish either!! I just can’t win. ;)

I think I want more retreats (for scrapbooking and quilting). I was also hoping to see a Green Bay Packers game but those are getting a bit expensive. Thanks for the chance to win some goodies. I wish for good health and a sound mind, I have been fighting a illness for the last 5 years, in that time I lost my Mother, My Aunt who was like my second Mom and my Step Mother which does not help the matter, we all know what stress can do to the body but I have a rare muscle disorder and I have to deal with it everyday.I just wished one day with out the pain , stiffness. I have no kids just pets to keep me company now besides work. I have a card room which is my sanctuary. I not only wish this for myself but others who also suffer from pain everyday but still get up and go to work and try to do what everybody else does but are limited. I pray and wish this for the whole world peace love and happiness.

Congratulations.. This milestone is definately a sign of what an inspiration you (and sometimes Toni… LOL) are..

My wish list this year is an Ipod (a little birdie told me this is hidden in our den..).. and a bind it all.. I can’t wait to make albumn and books..

My Christmas wish is to get all my stamping supplies transported to our new house. A Christmas miracle would be to be able to find what I need. I thought of a great gift for dh to buy me — a comfortable, adjustable crafting chair. May just buy it myself and save him the trouble.

One of the most precious gifts to give to someone is undivided time and that is what I wish for. Time to spend with my elderly parents, time with my husband and kids, even time with my pets. It is so difficult to obtain this time of year but yet so important…and these Verve stamps would be sweet!! ;)

  179. Comment by Emm — November 29, 2007 @ 10:27 am

What I am wishing for this Christmas is to get all of my projects completed! I always try to make everything from cards to gifts to candies and cookies and invariably there is always one or two things that don’t get completed! This year I started my cards a little earlier and they are ready to go and my two DGC help me roll cookies and sprinkle so that’s a big help right there! I may accomplish this after all!! Ü

oooooohh, I have been wanting those 2 sets since their big release. They are fabulous.
I wish that more people would show up to help at the Soup Kitchen on Saturday mornings! Our town seems to be oblivious to the very large number of homeless and those that are just having a hard time making ends meet. Churches donate food and people give money but no one wants to help serve. I think they do not want to SEE.

    Dear Santa,
I have been a good girl all year (to a point). This year I would like to have a wizard or cuttle bug, whatever is in your shop. I would also like the nestabilities dies to go with it. Do you think you can clear customs before Christmas comes? There is a long line up of Canadian orders from online shopping there.

Thanks for such great blog candy. Love your ideas. Better send this letter to Santa before it’s too late.
