Posted by Jen | MFT, PaperTrey, challenges | Saturday, October 20, 2007

Happy Saturday everyone!! It’s time for another SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY. Yea!! Yippee!! Fun!! Some of my friends have teamed up with me to share some samples using this sketch. Be sure to check them out!!

Carole Burrage
Shannan Teubner

Here’s the SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY. **Remember, if you are uploading to SCS, use SFYTT as a keyword**

Please note that the starburst in this sketch resembles any embellishment you choose to use.

Here’s my sample, with a close up of the bling bling snowflake:

Do you want this card? I will RAK one random SFYTT participant that links their project using this sketch on this post on Wednesday.

Guess what today it? It’s Celebrating MFT Day!! On the 20th of each month, it will be time to Celebrate MFT. What the heck does that mean? Well, on the 1st new sets were released. If you ordered them then, they should be in your hot lil’ hands and you are ready and set to play. Just upload a card or project using your MFT sets. There is a thread HERE where you can link your project, and if you are uploading to SCS, use the keyword MFTOCT07. This is not a contest or game or any sort, just a chance for us to all get together one day a month and have some fun!! Here’s my card…

Dang! Wish I were home. Love your sketches. Both of these samples are wonderful. Lots of texture and color. I’ll have the PaperTrey sets waiting for me. I have yet to purchase a MFT, though.

I love this sketch!! When I made my card, though, I ended up switching it around a little bit, so it probably doesn’t count anymore, lol. But I wanted to say thanks for the inspiration, and I love your card!

Love your bling bling and your awesome sketch. I’m out of practice from not stamping, so my card goes into off-sketch territory. Send me to the corner and take away my recess for not being able to follow instructions! :) Here’s my card..

Sorry but I too broke the rules to avoid giving the robin a headache. It was the first time I used paper this way so thanks for the inspiration.
