Page 71, That’s Me & The Promised Tutorial…

March 5, 2007, by {Jen}

Did you see it? I was published in the March 2007 issue of PaperCrafts Magazine {page 71}. This is my very first publication, and lucky for me, it was also a contest so I got lots of goodies! I have to toot my own horn a little just because it was my first time! PS~there are a ton of other names that you will probably recognize in there, too!!
I got a phone call not long after the issue hit newsstands from a woman in Michigan who looked me up on whitepages.com {flattering in a sort of weird way} wanting to know how the card worked. I also got an email from a woman that tracked down this site online and wanted to know what the template was.
I originally learned how to do a Big Buckle card on Splitcoast {HERE is the tutorial on SCS}, but this one is a touch different because of the size. Now, I am going to write a little disclaimer here before I get a flood of comments and/or emails…I want all the SCSers of the world to know that I am not trying to re-write or one-up the tutorial on SCS. I wanted to do this because, #1-I need practice writing tutorials, #2-It’s a little different, so why not. Ok? So be nice, please. ;) {smooches}

    Oh my gosh. I am going to go to B & N tonight and get the PaperCrafts issue. I can’t wait to try this card which means now I will have to get Bundle of Joy. Ohhhh why do they make every stamp set so cute. I’ll be living in a cardboard box with all my stamps, LOL. THANK YOU very much for the tutorial.
